Applaws Cuisine Selection Cat Food 70g 8-Pack $12 @ Coles

260

Applaws cat cans 8x70g multipack on special for $12, normally $15. Woollies had them in March for $11.50; this is a decent price for good cat food. A lot of pet foods have flour or tapioca as their first, major ingredient. This cat food is fish and/or chicken, broth and rice. My cat loves it.

    Thanks for sharing the deal👍

And good to know about the ingredient too.

I am just worried about my cats as the eat just “fancy feast”

This is my go-to brand. No nasties and enough flavours to mix around so fussy kitties don't get too bored.

Imagine having nothing better to do on a Saturday afternoon than post this dribble. You poor sod!

Applaws is great and probably the best supermarket type of food but please be cautious as their wet food is meant for supplementary feeding only as it doesn't contain Taurine which cats absolutely need in their food. Check the back of the label, there should be a warning.

Probably best to feed in conjunction with dry kibble or other complete meals. I do a mix of hypro premium dry and applaws as a wet treat. Cat loves the wet food over other wet foods.

    • How can it not contain taurine, doesn't that occur naturally in foods like chicken and fish?

    • You can get a bag of it off eBay and add to anything. Also, real meat has plenty of it.

  • Applaws is great as a topper or when my cat gets sick of my usual Royal Canin which i then switch to applaws for a day or two

I have been feeding my cats Applaws for the past year now, I also feed them Taste of the wild cat biscuits, both mixed together.
Very happy kitties and they have beautiful fur coats, and their teeth are doing well (No plaque buildup).
    Disclaimer:
Thats just my own experience so far, and I am not advising anyone else to do this, please consult with a trained vet for your Kitties needs (:

I don't understand why cats are so picky. I"ve had customers return the food like "My cat won't eat this"

Like if I had a cat, it would eat whatever crap I found which is both healthiest and cheapest, and if it didn't like it, it could go kill and eat native birds.

      • On your last day at work, you might reply, "What do you think of it?"

      • I went through multiple high-end brands before my cats finally settled with the Applaws, lol.
Also yes, I wish people would keep their cats inside, it's safer for them and as you said they kill and eat native animals, there are 4 cats just in my Neighborhood roaming freely.
My cats are indoors, and they are doing just fine.

      • Like bro. If you really are associated with coles, you should know better than to post negative comments about cats. Especially here.

APP10 not working in app for me

EDIT: appears a min spend $59 required

  • What I can never understand is when ppl buy canned cat food when they cost no less than canned fish. Paying extras for fake meat? No thanks.
