This deal was very old since last March and wasn't posted on OZBargain so here I post this. Terms & conditions.

The rate in the title is for owner occupied and principle+interest repayment type.

The latest requirements for cashback were updated from 18th Oct last year:

• 80% LVR or less
• $2000 cashback for loan size 250K-500K
• $3000 cashback for loan size 500K-750K
• $4000 cashback for loan size above 750K
• No cashback if there was another caskback application in the past 12 months
• This Offer does not include Commercial loans, SMSF loans, Reverse Mortgage and Aged Care loans, construction loans or bridging loans.

Everything else is pretty much standard, but surely not everything in T&Cs is covered in this post.

    Say if you have a loan balance of $1M, 0.05% difference is only $41.67 extra interest per month. And say your refinance cost is $1000, you still have $3000 left to have 72months to offset that 0.05% interest rate difference. Do the math.

      $10 a month for offset. Variable, redraw, all the usuals.

      I heard from Westpac they can do even better on that rate but I have to be on a package $395 a year tho.

    Wow. That's the lowest I've heard for variable for a Big 4. What's your LVR and how did you get this so low?

    I'm on 4.88% variable with offset. Bank Australia, they have paused applications for the product now though.
