Many people were wanting a CCC power bank on the uGreen power bank deal. Saw someone on Whirlpool posted 2 known CCC power banks. One of them is currently sold by digiDirect with a EOFY sale (original price $209) and the cheaper of the two known options, though there is a 2 week ETA on available stock.

Nevertheless, an option for those heading to and travelling within China. Keep in mind the new CCC requirement is only for domestic flights within China.

  • 170w will be a problem. I believed max is 125w from top of my head

    • Problem for?

    • I don't think wattage output is an issue in China or it wouldn't get CCC certification. It is 100Wh capacity limit on flights to/from/within China (different to output W) and I believe all CCC power banks cannot exceed 100Wh.

      • The issue is I can put CCC on anything.

    • according to Sharge's page. 170W max only when one USB-C is used for 140W, and the extra 30W is from USB-A.

tbh I don't have anything that charges 30W at USB-A which would be 12V 2.5A. at most the fastest USB-A charging device I have charges at 18W.

      it's a very specific scenario that allows 30W from USB-A. I think people should be aware of this it's not USB-C + USB-C = 170W max.

I want one with CCP logo instead of CCC.

      What about ACCC?

Imagine what US immigration would do, when you arrive, and they find this device with CCP over it? :)

Probably the same they would to you if they saw your avatar pic

oh I thought it was mp3 player

    • Showing our age. It does looks like an old iriver in the thumbnail.

      • Powered by one AA battery with 128mb storage.

        • Honestly who needs that much storage?

      • the toblerone shape actually reminds me of a pono

    • It looks like an old printer cartridge refill

    • i loved my iriver mp3 player which i lost :(

        • ahh nostalgia.

          • @xhanatos: Absolutely. I got mine in early 2000… Mine competed against the insanely popular iPod (my brother had). Whilst his battery swelled up like an inflatable mattress, I laughed whilst my joystick was so worn down it took directions less than a lost stubborn old man.

            God I miss that device

  • Is this for geeks who identify as sharks or for sharks who are geeks?

    • for geeks who shart themselves on the regular

        Thanks, picked up 3

  • Their awaiting for stock estimate could be very inaccurate. Last time I placed an order for something awaiting for stock in 2 weeks. It ended up taking them 6 weeks to dispatch. And meanwhile I was being dumped with marketing emails every single day, sometimes twice a day, on mediocre “sale”. Not recommended.

  • Wow, I saw the shape and thought they had brought out a new iRiver iFP mp3 player.

  • Gotta check the marking on our Xiaomi and Zmi powerbanks. cuz some earlier batch may not have them (my theory on this is China is escalating it's policies to stimulate more consumption after previous waves of 以旧换新)
