    The scratch I write, with 0.4mm I make a effort to tidy my writing style. But 1.0mm pens uh scratchy hand writing.

      Nope, cheap and nasty. But they're functional. You get what you pay for. If you look at some previous mechanical pencil bargains you'll see that $12 is often a good price for a single decent brand pencil.

      If you're asking the question I'm guessing you're expectations will be low and they'll be good enough.
