Did anyone else receive a free drink in their app? This despite me only not having visited Starbucks in 2 weeks and my rewards only half full meaning I could not have received a free coffee for ninth visit.
If it's a deal enjoy the free frappuccino or coffee. Of course I prefer my local barista but sometimes the drive thru is the fastest way to get coffee on the way to work in the morning.
It was for a free drink promotion last month!
From their email sent on the 30th of May 2025 - "Order your next beverage using the Starbucks rewards app and earn a FREE beverage for next time! Simply place an order for any handcrafted beverage from 1st to 15th June, and we’ll send you a free beverage to redeem in the app the following week."
Pricks- I ordered for that same promo and still haven't received my free drink in my account!
That's correct. I had to follow up 3 times to get mine loaded. They were supposed to load the free drink in "week following" but it took them till 30th June to load one.
I've had to send my third follow up on this- what a joke!!
I finally got mine loaded today after a bunch of emails questioning where it was, but upon trying to claim it through the app before work this morning, it would just crash the app the second I tapped to add the voucher to my order. I tried claiming it in store too but when the staff scanned my card, they said they couldn't see it. Not to mention that the original email says the voucher would be valid for a year, whereas the one they issued me is only valid for 30 days.
@XVX: Finally got the reward loaded in my account, valid for one year. Hopefully no issues when trying to redeem.
I ordered from that promo too. Never got the free drink loaded and somehow went from 8 star rewards to only one star on my account.
Nothing for me.
