    Manual transfer doesn't have to be first ever.

    I just manually transferred 1K Flybuys for 500 Velocity points and only the base points came across, not the 250 bonus.

    Once you enable auto-transfer, all of your Flybuys points in multiples of 1000 will be transferred to Velocity. The bonus points earned will still be 500 Velocity and 500 Flybuys.
    Also, once you enable auto-transfer, it will make you ineligible for other first-time auto-transfer offers. Instead, you should stack Flybuys points and do the auto transfer when there are better bonus offers, like the 15% bonus offers that come twice a year.

    For this offer, best is to do a manual transfer of 1000 Flybuys points, which will give you a bonus of 250 Velocity and 250 Flybuys points. The effective transfer rate will be 750 Flybuy points = 750 Velocity points (considering the bonus points)

        Was last in March, then November before that. 30k maximum bonus at 15% meant that the best transfer is when you have 400k flybuys. I'm hoping they offer it again this year

    I got nothing. When I communicated with flybuys and they pushed back to Virgin, and vice versa. After more than 20 emails and more than 6 months of communication, I gave up.

      Yep they are truly useless. Velocity kept arguing with me saying it had to be your first ever transfer, and because I had (manually) transferred before (months ago) I was not eligible.

      Eventually they honoured it as "a gesture of goodwill".

    Has anyone received their bonus points yet?
    Nothing here yet after a manual transfer on 2nd July.

    EDIT: It's gonna be a long wait this time around.
    "The bonus points will be credited to the memberโ€™s Velocity account and Flybuys account within four (4) weeks of the end of the Promotion Period."
