Same deal as the previous one but looks like they extended the deal to the 2nd of July. Also added HW-QS700F.

Killer deals especially on HW-Q990F, which is pretty much the best on the market at the moment.

HW-QS700F $549.45 (was $999)
HW-Q800F - $604.45 (was $1099)
HW-Q930F - $879.45 (was $1599)
HW-Q990F - $1099.45 (was $1999)

Discounts may vary depending on which EPP.

Make sure to utialise:

  1. 5% off for new user (automatically applied if applicable to you)
  2. 5% off for asking nicely for a code in the support chat
  3. $25 off for trade in (can trade in a portable speaker)

My purchase price of the HW-Q990F was just $969.69 which is insane for what you get.

HW-Q990F back in stock at time of writing.

    15% commbank yellow. Maybe targeted

    • +1

Have this, but I don't think it will stack.
The 15% is not characterised as a cashback, but a click-through which lands you on a portal with discounted items, similar to the EPP. I have access to the EPP and the prices are better (at least for my EPP). E.g. the Q990F was $1,199.45 ish on Yello, and $1,099.45 via EPP.

      • Can you please guide me through getting to the Samsung commbank yello portal? I can for the life of me find it in the netbank app anymore (it was previously there in the app). Is it as simple as using the site https://www.samsung.com/au/multistore/commbank_yello_au/ and logging in with my normal Samsung account no verification needed that I have commbank yello?

        • +1

Yes. I think so. Terms suggest you must pay with cba card. Not sure if enforced.
Via iOS app - I hit CBA Yello in bottom right. Then offers tab in middle. Then scroll down to specials and it is appearing there for me. I am Yello Gold. Unsure if targeted.
Clicking view details then directs you to that link you posted above.

          • @ts13: I'm gold also. Just checked the netbank app and the 15% offer is finnaly appearing (it wasn't there 2 days ago) and it looks like it just directs me to https://www.samsung.com/au/multistore/commbank_yello_au/.
At the checkout there is a banner showing 5% off on your first online purchase or with a new account, but its not applied to the total. Did 5%discount on first purchase work for you?

            • @BlitzR: Didn’t purchase. Don’t know.

  • Which soundbar is the most suitable for a open living room next to a kitchen and dining ?

    • +9

If you have the space for the satellite speaker(should be located behind your sofa for best experience), go for 930 or 990. I've had both before, they are both nearly identical just depends if you want to save some $ or get the best of the best.

If you don't have the space for the satellite speaker, don't waste your money just go for 800.

    • I have similar living area, bought Q800D recently when it was half price. Not sure if there is big difference between 800D and 800F.

      • How do you find it in an open area?

        • New to the sound bars. I dont put loud volumes when kids are around. I see big difference when the volume is set little high. I think that's when the sound detail is noticed. Subwoofer is good as well. I use it with Samsung qled 65inch tv.

Link takes me to a Samsung corporate partner site ?

    • +1

Yes you need to have access through work etc. Mentioned in title.

  • Managed to go through directly to Samsung website, but the price for the HW-Q990F is $1,599 (incl a $400 discount) ?

    • You need access to Samsung EPP

  • -1

Nice, am looking for the Samsung soundbar, however the link drives to partner program something how can I get 40% as you mentioned? And I don’t see q800f in the list of discount

    • You need to be able to access Samsung Employee Purchase Program, usually through work etc.

Chiming in to remind that they don't ship to wa or tas.

    • Delivered to Perth fine for me

Got the Samsung Q800F last time this was posted.

For a bar with no rears, it’s amazing.

Put Blade Runner 2049 on and the opening of it shook my entire house, wife was thrilled…

  • +5

For those that can’t access the Samsung EPP.

This code seems to be working and provides 15% off the already discounted prices on the normal Samsung website: V15-HDPX-WERL-88EM

    Brings prices down to:

    HW-QS700F $679.15 (was $999)
    HW-Q800F - $934.15 (was $1099)
    HW-Q930F - $1019.15 (was $1199)
    HW-Q990F - $1359.15 (was $1599)

Not as good as EPP but better than nothing if you can’t access EPP.

Also doesn’t stack with EPP discounts unfortunately.

    • Looks like code no longer valid;
“The voucher has already been redeemed in another order - please use another voucher.”

    • Any other codes or info on how to get one? I've tried that and it is no longer working.

  • Worth upgrade from the HW360k? Have had it for about 6 years and it's ok but, would it be a world of difference to go to a 800 or 900?

    • +2

Definitely. Depends if you want rear speakers or not.

Go the 800 if you don’t want rears or the 930/990 if you do.

Your current setup is 2.1. No Atmos and no centre channel, you’ll notice a big difference.

      • Excellent, will start looking, thanks for the reply @yopossum12

  • +2

    Thank you, got the Q800F.

    • +3

The pick of the bunch when it comes to bang for buck 👍🏻

  • +1

Difference between HW-Q800F and HW-Q930F, is it just the rear speakers and the main unit / woofer are the same? Thanks.

  • Just figured out I could access the EPP through my work. If I had of realised earlier I would have jumped on the 990f but it's out of stock.

Seeing this is the last day, will my next chance likely be Black Friday?

    • +1

Keep checking throughout the day, it might come back in stock

    • +1

Black Friday won't give you good pricing like this. I used to wait for black Friday for my big purchases only to find out that the cheapest deals are like this, throughout the year at random times. Keep your eye on it and deals on ozbargain and a good deal will come up. Guaranteed it won't be black Friday though.

Thanks OP. Got the Q800F with 5% discount to $573.

I just went on chat and asked for family and friends discount. Sent a photo of a serial number of - Samsung device I have.

  • Got a Q90r back in 2019 (https://www.rtings.com/soundbar/reviews/samsung/hw-q90r) and its working fine…. i know its 6 years old, but can anyone guide me if replacing it with Q990F will make a huge difference?

  • i want to trade in Q90R but $25 trade in value is underwhelming and not worth it.

  • +2

Heads up guys I ordered Q800F last week and the the subwoofer arrived faulty and I’m going through their dreadful system. Make sure you checking carefully when you got them

    • +1

Good luck mate. It took me nearly 5mths to get a refund from them when I received a faulty 990 unit. This was after I dropped off the unit to the repair renter located 5mins from my place any them fling around with me with repairing it.

  • Amazing price. Well worth jumping on 990F!

    • would if I had a EPP:(:(

  • -3

    Scamsung

  • Where can you find the end date of this deal?

  • Does Good Guys/JB price match these deals?

    • +1

I bought the Q-990F from JB last week at the same price showing them this deal. They didnt exactly price match straight away, had to hussle, so perhaps try your luck.

  • Chat will supply another 5% discount but will need a photo of a samsung product serial number for some unknow reason. Also chat took 40 mins from start of chat with someone claiming to be human until they finally supplied a code.

    • +1

You don’t really need that epp 5% discount voucher which is hard to get sometimes. Just ask for a normal 10% or 15% discount voucher, although it will say that it will not work for epp or education store but it works just fine but will max 5% discount.

  • Not sure if the flickering sound issues exist in these models. But I noticed the issue in my Q800D sometimes. The issue happens when I try to increase or decrease the volume as soon as I switch on my tv/soundbar. Turning off and on again fixes the issue in my case.

Just a tip, don't immediately change the volume once the tv/soundbar is on.

  • would never buy samsung sound equipment. no brand owned service option, had to pay to get a defective device examined, no fault found. compared with buying speakers, seemed incredibly wasteful to have to bin the whole bar / satellites / sub.

  • +1

Trying to buy a soundbar now. Looks like all the models except for the HW-QS700F are sold out now?

    • Keep refreshing, you might get lucky

      • +1

        That is my current gameplan.

  • +1

yep all the good ones sold out

  • via good guys commercial account paid q990f $1272. and via blue light card paid second q990f $1049 including delivery.

  • +1

HW-Q990F is back in stock just ordered through EPP. Also got the 5% loyalty discount (in addition to the new user discount) by providing the serial number and photo of a Samsung device that I already owned and another $25 off for an old bluetooth speaker.

    $969.69 delivered.

  • +1

Just got the HW-Q990F. Got a further 5%+5% off as listed

  • Looks like the Q990F and Q930F got restocked and are still available in time of writing. Sadly no restock for the Q800F yet, which is what I'm after.

  • I finally pulled the pin a bought the 990F, i got the 5% new user and the 5% off for asking nicely (had to provide the serial number off a Samsung device i had - I used the one off my microwave).

This is going to be a huge upgrade going from the built-in speakers on my TV to this system!!!

  • Q990F interest me as new to soundbars.
