True ozbargainers will get it from another source, tsk tsk

  • Sofa king annoying Microsoft….
I accessed using chromium and the entire page was greyed out like the proverbial tick box. :\

  • Unfortunately my product isn't eligible to upgrade for free!
My wife being a teacher allowed me to get that government 'home use' version of 2010 for $18!
Not sure if I want to / or can get 2013 yet, but the 'home use' scheme is offering it for $15 according to MS site!

edit: followed JDR's link just then. I remember trying this a little while back and it didn't work. I think I have to wait for her school to buy a site license and/or the Vic government to initiate it.
It says it was unable to qualify the email domain used.
    Guess I can wait!!!

  • I just signed up. I bought Office 2010 Pro on the $100 student deal back in november and it's eligible for the Office 2013 free upgrade.

  • Received an email from Microsoft today:
"As you requested, we are letting you know that the new Office is now available. Return to Office.com/offer today to check your eligibility and download Office, for free.¹ This offer is available for a limited time only."
    The link: http://office.microsoft.com/en-au/offer/
I will try it tonight when I get home.
