Seems like a great price for a well reviewed table saw. Often compared to the dewalt one (1500W vs Dewalt's 1850W) when they normally sell for the $700 mark.
Limited stock on offer

Hikoki is legit but they don't have the same market penetration in Australia as Makita, DeWalt and Milwaukee, which just means they don't have the same quantity of great deals or secondary market options.
They used to be huge on building sites 15 years ago still under the Hitachi name, everyone had to have the green after moving on from everyone using yellow.
Now you are not one of the cool kids unless you have red…
Not a tradie, but I have this exact model and it's pretty good.
Use it for cabinets and odd jobs around the house.
Have this, not a tradie but it's great. No brainer at that price
I love mine (have probably 15+ Hitachi/Hikoki tools). I said i'd replace my old drill, bought in 2005, when it died. Bought the new drill a couple of years ago. But that was because I was still waiting for the old drill to die and it just wasn't going to. I still use it today.
Hikoki is the new name for Hitachi range of power tools. I have an old set of 18v cordless drill, driver and grinder and the tools are still going after 8-10yrs. Several of the original batteries have died but the tools still work with the hikoki batteries.
also bonus battery via redemption $499 spend
I have this saw. It goes alright. A lot better than the old Workzone one I got from FB marketplace for $50
That's not the most glowing of comparisons ;)
I have a butter knive and this thing beats it hands down.
But does it beat trying to cut wood using your teef?
Looks like Bunnings has price matched including free battery with redemption if that helps
I couldn't find it online.
Product no longer available at Bunnings. Linky no worky.
Tool shops have a surprisingly terrible reputation …

Good thing we have Bunnings
Bunnings sucks on a whole different level.
I actually prefer to buy from Bunnings if they carry the item. Online ordering through Total Tools is very hit and miss, especially if you need items that's only in stock at different stores. The order seems to get assigned to whichever store you mark as current/favourite on your account and they won't stock transfer. If the store you picked can't order the missing item they may sit on your order a while before telling you they can't get it and just cancel it; really the experience comes down to the individual franchise.
Can't return/exchange an item purchased from one TT store to another, even if it was DOA.
They don't honour warranty if it's 1 day over. I've had to fight for warranty on items that were defective even when inside the warranty window. They try to find all manner of excuses to brush me off.
At least with Bunnings I've never had an issue with DOA exchange/refunds. Warranty for a Dewalt mitre saw was quickly handled by Dewalt but Bunnings put in the claim for me.
@warhead: Fair points, but my objection to Bunnings is more around how they've become a monopoly supplier (e.g. they are the sole distributor of Ryobi) and a lot of what they sell is low quality.
They might have easier returns or inventory management, but I don't like monopoly/duopoly setups.
So which store is best? Don't just say local
I have this same saw and genuinely love it. It's my most used tool for small hobbiest woodworking. $499 is a steal
Can anyone comment on Hikoki, in particular for those in the electrical trade? I’ve been eyeing off their 10pc kit for some time - curious how it compares to AEG, Milwaukee, DeWalt.
