      Can that be used more regularly than Oxymetazoline based sprays? Internal structure of my nose is buggered from breaking it as a kid and Oxymetazoline is the only one so far that allows a decent sleep. I try to use only 1 spray in one nostral 2-3 times a week max.

        My understanding is Oxymetazoline is only approved for 3 days of continuous use, they asked for 5 days when getting approval to come into Australia. I don’t know if it was approved.

        I’d recommend speaking to your GP about the risk of long term use with only a day or so between uses.

  Hoping someone can explain this to me… i see bulk packs of nasal decongestant regularly but they all say "don't use for more than X days in a row", yet you're getting 100-200 doses

  Is everyone just throwing them out or taking short breaks?

    Depends on the ingredients. Ones like dymista can be used regularly and don’t cause rebound nasal congestion.
    And apparently Allermist is the generic version dymista.

    And btw, Dymista is amazing.

        Ryaltris has been God send but the drowsiness even after waking up I am feeling. I have gone to Dymista for 3 days now and still waiting for it to kick in (I need some sleep :()

    Anything that has Oxymetazoline in it can be dangerous as it can cause serious addiction. You can only use it for up to 5 days in a row, otherwise it can cause rebound nasal congestion and your nose will always be blocked unless you use the nasal spray.

    And yes, all of those Oxymetazoline spray are usually in a 100 doses even though are you are only allowed to use about 10 doses in a row within 5 days. My advice is try to avoid it as much as you can, unless you 100% really need it. I've been a nasal spray addict for 15 years, it takes me months of suffering and torture trying to free myself from nasal spray.
