I got one from rebel for this price earlier this week. The outer fabric appears more heavier than the halo. The jacket is just under twice the weight. The size is slightly larger than expected. I am going to Europe for a trip in December. On the face of it it seems ideal for that. Big pockets in front less need for extra layers. As a Queenslander I see my domestic need for this jacket limited.
Exactly why I couldn’t justify getting one. Too heavy to travel with, too warm locally.
Same down fill. Would be a similar warmth in a more rugged form factor.
