Dewalt DCZ100P2KT-XE Hammer Drill Kit $249 Delivered / C&C / in-Store @ Bunnings

120

Not as good as the $199 McLaren deal a few weeks back, but still ok-ish for someone new or switching to the Dewalt ecosystem. The included big box is a nice addition.
Original price seemed to be around $350 mark

P/S: Too many Dewalt batteries these days. I tried to sell one from another kit, but it's taking weeks to sell on FB marketplace.

FB marketplace works ok, but only if what you’re selling looks like a bargain. Everyone wants it half price or less. I shifted a 5AH battery and charger from a kit in a day or so, but only because it was half RRP…

    • but I think it's easier to sell a Ryobi battery for a higher price than a Dewalt battery on FB :)

  • This deal is…okay, yeah, it adds up.

Two batteries are worth about $150, charger is another $30, that case is worth $40, tape measure is worth ten bucks, bits are worth another ten, so yeah, the drill is costing you about ten bucks.

It's a good starter kit if you can't wait for the next round of sales, and even though the drill is an old model it's good enough for around the house bits and pieces.

Just be aware that it's likely old stock, so you might get batteries which have been sitting empty - test them before you leave the store to save yourself some hassle.

    • Any models to keep my eye out for, just around the house hammer drill

DCD805. Compact yet powerful enough for around the house stuff.
        I just switched from Ryobi.

    Did I get ripped off?

    • Don't think so. I considered that a good deal. Have you got the Spend-n-Get gift card from Bunnings?

I bought it via Sydney tools
I forgot about the GC 😕

Hell no, that was an outrageously good deal.
Top of the line compact hammer drill, top of the line compact impact driver, top quality, versatile reciprocating saw and a couple of batteries.

That deal was probably the best DeWalt has had in three years. If you managed to score a Bunnings voucher on top of it, it was just wild good value.
