Woolworths is running a "Big Points Blitz" offer. Redeem Everyday Rewards dollars during the promotion period and receive bonus points back.

  • Redeem $20 Everyday Rewards dollars, get 1000 bonus points.
  • Redeem $50 Everyday Rewards dollars, get 2500 bonus points.
  • Redeem $100 Everyday Rewards dollars, get 5000 bonus points.

Dates: One week only, 9 - 15 July.

Bonus points will be available 7 business days after the qualifying shop. Terms and conditions apply.

    Did 3 x $20-22 shops in 1 Woolies today on 3 accounts with R$20+. For $15 Rewards back.

    So much was on sale at 30% or 50% off!
    (Amazon were price matching some, but much cheaper @Woolies with effectively 25% back💰)

    Some were OOS, so asked for rainchecks.
    Can get up to 12 of 1 product on each raincheck to use within a month.

      Never know Woolworths did rainchecks. I was told once they stopped ages ago. Has that changed?

        Even staff were surprised they've returned.
        I was happy - printed out, unlike Coles.

        Stopped with Covid. No one wanted returns possibly handled by infected people.

      I got an email for it on my main account, but a second account never received the email.

      However, when I went to onto the Everyday Rewards app for both and went to the Discover tab, the first Featured item is this offer for both accounts. If you tap on the Featured item, it opens the offer and only has a Shop Now button at the bottom. The offer details also says boosting is not required.

      I have also seen this deal advertised on orange A4-sized posters at multiple Woolworths stores over the last few days, and the posters say nothing about the offer being targeted or requiring activation beforehand.

              @cloudy: Apologies, part of that discussion was about Bank For Christmas - which is related but not related to this opposite deal…

              Not many have commented about getting the points, though another one today, so it seems 5-6 days after the shop people are getting the bonus.

              So maybe you get it today or tomorrow - but Woolies aren't obliged to pay before 7 business days (their terms), so there's no point complaining you haven't gotten anything, until after such time has elapsed.

    Bonus pts was credited for shop on 11 Jul. I switched to Auto to redeem EDR just before shop and switched back to Xmas right after the shop. I did not plan to participate but my shopping amount reached the $20 anyway.

    In other words (and for future same promo reference), so long as you redeemed the $20+ EDR off a shop during the period, you'll get the bonus pts. It doesn't matter what your preference was and what you switched to in the end.
