    Nope. Don't have it.

  • +3

    I got it
Cancelled 2 ordered and reordered lol

  • +2

    Got it here. Nice.

Going to guess that they don't detect gift card purchases, but don't have any experience with Amazon in that regard. Can anybody chime in?

    • +2

Very confident that only the spend creiteria matters, they dont and cannot look past that. So yes, you can buy GCs.

    • +4

I always buy gift cards with yello offers and use whan i need to buy something. Always got cashbacks at coles, amazon, target, etc.

  • No dice

  • -1

Got it. Would it stack with TopCashback ?

    • It should - they dont track each other. As long as the debit is from you CC, you should be fine

  • 15% cash back and I just had to cancel my card because of fraudulent transactions.

  • Nada

  • nun

  • +3

I suppose it doesn't stack with the PayTo 5% off promotion as it's done through PayID or your bank account.

  • +2

    Does GC purchase count?

    • Yes

    • Ts&Cs dont say otherwise, juzt one transaction.

    • I bought GC it didn't count

      • +1

Counted for me , got a notification just now

  • +1

I bought GC last time no problem, just wondering if I bought 5 X $20 would it count?

Guessing since all gift cards would be charged to CC as one amount (and on that note, if you purchase from multiple sellers in one transaction, since Amazon may charge them separately there's a chance wouldn't qualify?)

    • +2

OK, to answer my own question.. remembered I purchased multiple gift cards in one transaction a while back for a promo offer so looked back and it was charged as one amount.

So can confirm again, just bought 5 x $20 and charged as single $100 (if like me, don't like leaving much gift card balance attached to your account)

        • It can take up to 14 days to get the cashback.

          • @bamzero: Ah nvm I just checked rewards activity and it seems it's marked as "claimed" so it worked! Cheers

  • +8

I'm guessing it will work with this deal https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/913147

    • thanks, just bought it!

      • My promo code doesn't work anymore… Perhaps the 10,000 have been claimed?

        • Worked for me 15 mins ago

          • +1

@werdplaya58: Worked for me as well just now. I didn't go ahead with the purchase as after the code was applied I didn't see any changes on the payment screen. When I tried again it gave me the error "cannot be applied to your purchase", went to support and told them of the error and they credited my account with me $10 gift certificate on eligible purchases all within 10 mins prior to me purchasing any gift cards

  • nope

  • Got it. Thanks OP

  • Got it, cheers OP.

  • +1

Do seperate transactions totaling $100 count

    • +1

“You must spend the required amount in one transaction unless stated otherwise”
“To qualify for this offer you must spend A$100 or more on Amazon.com.au on your eligible Mastercard until the 14th of July.”

      I’d say it’s unclear as per T+Cs…

    • +6

:( Stupid amazon charged my single order separately (93$ and 8$)

      • they did the same for me 🥲

      • yep split into multiple charges

      • +1

Same here, ended up cancelling and purchasing a gift card to use on the same items.

        • Same :(

        • Yeh this is what I suspected might happen

Wanted to get a bunch of smaller gift cards so didn't have to apply the whole balance at once. Assuming since it's all from Amazon would be charged in one lot but not sure.

      • Same here…

      • Update: Got 15$ cashback from commbank though xD

  • Not here. Possibly based on previous spend at Amazon.

  • I got it too! Thanks, OP.

  • +1

Base on the number of votes, I guess I'm the unlucky one.

  • Does this apply to app purchases as well?

  • Diamond and didn't get it :'(

  • can you buy a gift card on amazon to meet the spend requirement for this offer?

  • Not only I dont see this offer, all of my existing yello offers (Uber, Village cinema) have disappeared in the app too (saw them 2 days ago and the expiry dates to claim are many months away) Anyone has the same problems?

    • We're working on exciting new offers for you. Check back later.

  • Got it, but when I press "activate" it says something has gone wrong :(

  • For anyone wanting small value items to get to $100, Swisse Vitamin Ds (and some other vitamins) have 50-60% off promo.. I bought something and could only get to $95.50, so needed something to get to $100.

Swisse Vitamin D 60 was for $5.57 and pack of 400 was $15.59.. got the 400 pack as it was a better deal.

    https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B013JKSIUG?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_f…

    • If you're taking Vitamin D, it's worth reading up about the importance of also using Vitamin K. I think this has been shown to help deposit calcium in your bones, rather than your arteries.

  • Thanks!

  • +2

Just be careful that Amazon may bill you separately if you are buying multiple items to make up the $100. You might not get the cashback from yello if the $100 spend is not in one single transaction.

    • +1

I always buy Amazon gift card for this kind of offer. You don't have to shop $100 or more if you have nothing to spend now.

  • +1

Never have anything good from yello

    • Same… Honestly pisses me off. My offers barely change.
I would have loved to have this one too as I'm collecting Pop Vinyl's and amazon's got some great ones. This would have been great to go with APP20 to get $20 off.

    • I got this +

More NBN $40 a month off
More Mobile $16 a month off

      Have been useful to me.

  • Thanks, bought $100 gift card from Amazon, easy peasy

  • I got this offer yesterday but i didn't check this thread to see sometimes Amazon split the purchases which happened to me yesterday 🤦‍♂️

Amazon charged one item at around $8 and the rest around $93.

Unfortunately the whole order has been sent so i just placed an order for an e-gift card just now for the value of $100.

From now on i know to just buy the gift card instead of hoping Amazon charges correctly.

    • +1

Did you buy the same as c0smicntt? :)

      • lol. I didn't notice that. I bought a bunch of things but that's hilarious we spent almost the same amount.

    • same thing happened to me on the CBA one just now and the NAB one - sooo frustrating

  • Combined with the $10 promo credit offer.

Effectively, $85 for $100 GC value, 15% off.

Then $100 for $110 GC value, 9% off.

Overall $185 for $210 GC value, 12% off.

    • Have you received your $15 back from CBA yet? I’m still waiting

      • It said up to 14 days for cashback from CBA.

  • +1

Amazon AU and Amazon international are charged as seperate transactions, keep this in mind when trying to hit the $100 minimum. Yello states this must be made in one transaction

didn’t realise until I checked my card, luckily I had another order to place

  • trying do this so the payment method uses the Comm Bank Card instead of the credit balance on the Amazon account

    • +1

Select change payment and untick anything you don't want to use.

  • +1

Thanks - got it processed , also went for $200 gift card to get the additional $10 off $200 Prime GC code

  • I bought a monitor from Amazon about 2 hours ago, but the payment hasn’t been charged to my card yet. I’ve just activated the CommBank offer now. Do you think the $15 off will still apply when the payment is processed?

    • suggest cancel and reorder

    • just checkd my gift card transaction from yesterday, I have already received the Gift Card however the transaction is still showing as pending on the bank account, it might take some time to reflect. Product purchases might be delayd by Amazon, you could purchase gift card and apply to purchase.

  • I already had some Amazon credit (from GCs) so used my credit card to buy 5 products >$100.

    Fortunately it was 1 transaction.

I now need to return 1 item ($50). I wonder if Amazon refunds me I'll get the $15 cashback.

I should have purchased a GC of $100! doh!!!

I'll ask Amazon to refund to my Amazon account for a credit.

    • The offer hasn't expired yet, you could still buy a $100 gc to be on the safe side?

      • +1

        Good point.

Maybe should go $200 GC to also get the $10 bonus as well.

    • In theory it shouldn't matter as the the refund will be a different transaction.
The cashback is due within 14 days too, so could also have waited it out till it came then return.

      • That’s what I’m thinking too as it’s a partial refund.

  • +2

I ordered something for $116 (hoping to get $15) yesterday but I have not been charged yet by Amazon, and the promo ends today. Will CBA pay me back if Amazon charges me tomorrow? This is soo bad :(

    • Just buy a $100 gift card? That will charge (almost) instantly and then apply the value against the order?

      • +1

I purchased a $100 GC 2 days ago, and its still a pending payment. (& prob will be pending once the CB Yellow offer is expired)

The time it's pending is completely out of our control… you'd have to think they base off the time of purchase.

        • +1

Pending paymeny is fine. Here I'm not even charged yet. Too late to change payment method, dont want to take risk for $15

  • I got my $15 on 1 card, still waiting on the other card.

  • I place order on 08.07.2025, but I see the transaction update on my account yesterday 16.07.2025. Transaction still under pending.

This is qualify for 15.00 cashback? I placed order on offer activated time frame. Anyone know This case ?

Thanks for your help and explanation

    • Since Amazon only charges your card when the item ships there could be a delay from when you order to when the charge appears on your card.

I can't remember when this offer was expiring (mine has already completed and can't get to the details anymore) but I'm assuming the deal expiry is correct at 14/7.

Not sure what will happen in this case though. In an above case of Amazon charging items separately CBA still honoured the cashback but the transactions were within the expiry. If they don't honour it you might have to contact them and provide a copy of the order date and cross your fingers.

  • +1

Cba still honoured my purchases too, though amazon charged 6 separate transactions
