I see everybody going nuts on unknown chinese brands of ni-mh. Olight is a well known flashlight brand and released a hi tech very expensive battery charger recently and also released their branded Ni-mh batteries. They are not made in Japan but should be better than run of the mill chinese ni-mh.

Large multinational company sets up a kickstarter for a new product. Ok.

Just a cheap way for them to gauge interest and production volume. Nothing wrong with it as long as it's not vapourware and there is a decent discount.

Companies like Anker still use kickstarter.

        • Large multinational company

          never heard of this brand….

  • These are probably rebadged run of the mill chinese nimh batteries, just with a markup.

    • well, they might have slightly better quality control….

      • "Might" is meaningless. "Do" is meaningful.

        • there's no way to tell unfortunately
