    Heads up, I bought these and there was a super strong chemical smell, so much so that it gave me a headache and I had to return them - seems like a common thing with them.

      I bought a pair from Sennheiser ebay several months ago and they were fine. No chemical smell.

    I like mine but ANC is not on par with alternatives.

      What are the main issues with ANC? Is it unable to block most things like the sony's or bose or are there other issues?

      I loved the the on ear momentum /hd 25s so I was hoping this would deliver some of that great sound. Messing around with DACs and tube amps doesn't suit my lifestyle but if this can reproduce a part of that greatness it could be worthslightly worse ANC for me.

        Comparing to Xm3 and XM5, the Sony ANC was much better across the board. My Momentum don't block a lot and the passive blocking is low so when you're in a busy environment like public transport, voice announcements feel close to normal volume.

      Nothing to write home about. Maybe keep an eye out for some AKG ANC headphones if you're interested in increased audio quality too and not all about top tier noise cancelling. 👀

    For those who're looking at these for conference / work meeting calls, the mic is super exposed. I used them for virtual calls for a couple of month - the other side could hear everything going on around me even when someone talks from the other room but good for music etc.
