    Same price at crazy clarks

they also had American cherry coke, cherry 7-up and AW root beer at my local reject shop.

    • Vanilla coke at Pines Doncaster as well

Boyfriend buys these a lot from the Reject Shop. Usually a 12 pack of Dr Pepper and a 12 pack of Cherry Coke for $30 (so always $15 for a 12 pack). It's a lot, but the easiest way to get them. He's recently found them at our local IGA and they're a little bit cheaper.

This would be a bargain if this didn't currently exist:

    http://www.usafoods.com.au/SPECIALS/Monthly-Specials/Dr-Pepp…

twice as much for the same price AND made with cane sugar.

ONLY a decent deal if you can pick it up though as postage cost is insane.

    • but that one says bbd 0ct 2012, are they still ok to drink that long after a best before date?

      • +4

Says on the USAfoods page that it should be good for another 6months. bbd is just a guide. Softdrink would last out a nuclear winter :)

        • +1

Soft drink has nothing to do with if its good or not.

The BBD is for taste/quality. It is 100% guaranteed to taste worse past the BBD, how much is up to how it was stored and what the product is.

        • I agree I think the terms "best before" date and "use by" date simply are pretty self explanatory.

        • +1

Coke and Diet Coke already starts to taste different (worse) 2 months before the BBD. Not sure aobut Dr Pepper though.

        • Go to your local markets and you'll find products close to or past their Best Before date. The drop in quality is obvious and you get what you pay for.

        • I agree, same with pepsi max (maybe its just cola). Loses its fizz and starts to taste metallic (from the tin leaking maybe?) just ew.

    • Insane alright! $112 shipping to the gold coast, lol.

Crazy Don's near my house (food importer / wholesaler) has 20 packs of US Dr Pepper for 20 cans / $20 and UK Dr Pepper 24 cans / $20. I am pretty sure Reject Shop always has them for this price.

That being said quite often over the last few years (at places like IGA) I have seen specials where you can get 24 packs of Dr Pepper for $10 to $15.

Also a note - those Dr Peppers on USA foods are Dublin Dr Pepper which is no longer in production (thanks to Dr Pepper). As it is no longer made the only dublin available for purchase has an expiry date of Oct 2012.

  • Do they have Diet Dr Pepper as well?

    • -1

I'm told Diet Dr Pepper goes off very quickly and so nobody imports it.

  • Has anyone ever seen a deal on Dr Pepper 10? Tastes better than Diet DrPepper to me, and I cant be drinking all that sugar.

  • Shiploads in tassie has these and other american softdrink (A&W, Fanta Grape, Coke Cherry) 12 packs for 10 bucks a pop.

  • This deal is for the corn syrup version yeah?
Which isn't as good as the other version IMO. Less flavour
Mind you, if it was between corn syrup and nothing, I'll take the corn syrup!

  • +3

Hfcs - high fructose corn syrup
    Don't like it

  • Cant find it near me. If anyone has places in Adelaide I'd love to know. Only place I have seen charge something like $3 a can for it

    • Coles sells it by the can. I think it's $1.75. And it's the Cane Sugar version.

      • I often stock up at Coles. Love that they sell it!

    • Most "Drake" Foodlands will have it (Golden Grove FL does for sure)

  • you can get dr pepper for $1 a can at many "closing down" bargain store,
