  • Dreame L10s Pro Ultra Heat or this one? Any suggestions? I like the heat drying option as well as the mop extension on the L10. Would that be enough to get the L10s?

    • Roborock Q Revo MaxV for an extra $200 or Dreame L10s Pro Ultra Heat or this one? Any suggestions? Roborock Q Revo MaxV has the heat drying option and Roborock is a better brand. Thank you for your inputs.

  • Thanks. Bought one last night with Pay To but cancelled this morning and rebought for the $799 price but on card.
Too many stories re: warranty issues etc. Figured for the ~$40 the credit card gave me extended peace of mind warranty if they played games.

    • Which one did I buy?

      • Roborock Qrevo L but on credit card for the added protection

  • refunded the dreame l10 gen 2 and got this instead, price dropped by $100 and just a better brand even tho the same parent company

    • +1

Was in the same boat, and made the same decision.
      Hope it just works.

  • Any suggestions for purchasing quality dust bags and mop pads for this?
    - just grabbed the robot!

  • +1
  • Get it! I paid more for the S and it's great. This has more suction and lift, can't go wrong.

  • now also available in costco for $10 cheaper - https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/914746

    • How does Costco's warranty/returns compare to Amazon?

  • struggling to find references to the L model - is it known by another name?

    • +1

I believe it's an AU specific model, which is why you won't find youtube video reviews etc.

      • well, that's just annoying

        • Just look at reviews for the Qrevo S. Very similar except the L has more power and lift.

          • @tichet18: Correct, although the L doesn't have warm air drying.

            • @Jebus: The description on the Amazon item, says it has automatic mop air drying

              • +1

@zekep: It does, but it uses cool air not warm air that some models have. It just takes longer to cool so not really an issue.

  • Jeez have these things really dropped in price over the last few years? I bought an S8 Plus back in 2023 for $1500 which was an Ozbargain deal. Seems like terrible value less than 2 years later.

    Great device though.

    • Bound to happen with new technology and new competitors since 2 years ago.

      • For sure, I'm not complaining, it's great to see competitive pricing. Was just surprised to see.

  • Hoping the robot vacuum experts here can help me out.
I have a fairly small house all wood floors with kids that make lots of mess.
I already have a shark mop (https://sharkclean.com.au/collections/steam-mops/products/s7…) so do is it worthwhile getting a vacuum that mops like this one?
Or should I get a bagless model like the Deebot N20 plus https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/914199 or
    Eureka E20 plus https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/910018?

    • If you want to stretch the budget a little bit ($600~) then I would recommend the T30 OMNI (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/915026) if you buy it today. Has far more advanced mopping than the ones you have listed and I have the same setup as yourself with kids and flooring.

  • How does Roborock handle warranty claims made after the first year but within the second year, in accordance with ACCC guidelines? Are such claims typically accepted?

    • Best bet is going through Amazon.

      • Well this is only shipped by Amazon AU, but sold by Roborock AU Official so i don;t know if it will be like buying directly from Roborock

        • You're still buying from Amazon. They can't deny you warranty as the retailer.

  • Is the code still working? Doesn’t seem to work for me.

    • Are you using PayTo? It's single use if you've used it before

      • Thanks, that might be it, I might have used a different PAYTO code on another deal.

  • Looking to get a robovac that does a great job of mopping. How much difference between roller vs disc, and hot water mopping vs cold water mopping (not just cleaning)?

  • This or the Dreame L20 ultra https://amzn.asia/d/5ECRPTz for the same price.

  • Was struggling to choose between this and the Dreame L20 Ultra. The Dreame definitely has better features and value, but I ended up going with the Roborock after hearing too many people complain about warranty hassles.

    • Actually, just read more reviews, same warranty issues with Roborock. They're same same.

  • Got one through this deal and when setting it up realised the wifi indicator light doesn't work. Wasn't able to connect to 5GHz network either, tossing up between overlooking the minor issues or returning for a refund and getting another one before the deal disappears. Won't be able to use PAYTO again so will end up costing 40$ more 😞
Anyone else having similar issues? Maybe I'm nitpicking but just concerned the item is defective and there maybe other issues that haven't surfaced yet.

    • +3

Being able to connect to 2.4GHz only is fairly common with most smart home products, cameras and vacuum cleaners. They often mention it somewhere in the specs.

      • You're right about the 5GHz network, not supported for this model according to the official website. I guess the wifi indicator not working isn't the end of the world.

  • +1

I have a Ecovac N8+. What does ozb peeps do with these older models they own. Serious question…it is working fine but I want to upgrade because of the spinning mop feature.

    • I usually move them to run separate rooms like the garage, or give them away to friends who haven't seen the light of the robot vacuum (very few these days).

  • Has anybody who ordered one of these got it yet? Despite Amazon Prime, Roborock have sent using Aramex and parcel is lost in their void of terrible service

    • +1

I ordered on 12/07 and got it on 16/07

      • Aramex is holding mine hostage.

  • Does anyone know which filter this uses?
    there's so many types
