      look at old threads then

I tried my luck with Topcashback deal last month for the Switch 2. Tracked just fine, but then MyDeal cancelled the order like many here :(

    • +2

2 months, nothing. There are too many disgruntled stories for ShopBack (high payout deals) and then even more when it comes to everyday market.

Just use one of the other 2

  • +8

On exclusions you can probably add..

    You won't get Cashback on:

    • Pretty much any purchase at all… even if you meet all the requirements… for no particular reason.
  • +3

$468.75 is the optimum amount for $150 cap and almost exactly coincides with Sony XM5's price making it $319 + shipping after cashback

    • +1

Why bother with cashback when you can get it for $399 less $30 perks from JB?

@Repstar will tell you how he “loves” Everyday Market so much

      • +3

        Because 319 < 399-30

        • +4

If it tracks and not get cancelled :)
Have heard horrible stories recently too

    • $515.65 actually. You need to add Gst to value of item.

      • Recent order via Top Cashback tracked at full percentage so don't think there's any GST adjustment

    • Hence, Sony here would be $469 - $136.45 = $332.55 + shipping

  • +5

    MyDeal cancelled my Switch2 order

There’s a listing from EB Games if you want to try?

  • +2

    Not worth the risk!

  • Does buying groceries get the cash back? I am new here 🙏🙏🙏

Won't risk Woolworths Everyday Market cashback ever again. Personally, had cashback cancelled months later - long after tracking - due to a code that was originally (and anecdotally) acceptable.

Others have had it cancelled months after tracking because of obscure reasons "falls under their non-commissionable category" (impossible to confirm at time of purchase).

Want to state very clearly I don't blame SB for this, and in fact they have been amazing with honouring generous cashback as an act of goodwill; even though they would not have been paid by WW EM.

1152Wh Power Station + 5000mAh Power Bank ($499 after cashback)

    https://www.woolworths.com.au/shop/productdetails/1121620673…

    • Good catch! still eyeing the power station since I missed the last deal:
      https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/909667
      (eBay $567.99 (or eBay+ $553.79))

This deal +$85 on shipping (Metro NSW)
So around $584 shipped for me
      (diff +$16.01 (+$30.21))

      • Update:

Seems off, SB tracked $30 only for me.

Will put more update later off shift

        • +1

It has this in tracking disclaimer -

Your Cashback may be tracked at a different rate initially and adjusted to the correct rate when we confirm the transaction details.

          • +1

@scud70: Yeah that happens. But even if/when the rate is corrected, the real challenge is waiting for the cashback to be confirmed to your account (loooong after tracking).

This is where many have noted their cashback status quietly move from "tracked" to "rejected".

    New Woolwworths customers only.

    mydeal more like canceldeal

    Get10 eligible?

    • +2

any promotion code will void cash back

  • Dyson Airstrait comes down to about $440. Seems like a decent deal

  • May i ask, so if i purchase any lego from BigW via marketplace that would be eligible for 32% cashback?

  • +2

ordered Switch 2 bundle from EB (everyday market), but only $30 tracked, weird.

    • -2

Read the cashback t and cs

      • Yeah why?

      • cannot find anything excluding game consoles. It seems like I got categorised into New Woolworths Customer, but my purchase is not from woolies grocery.

I have raised an ticket and see how it goes.

    • I don't see anything excluding Nintendo.

Bigw market has this exclusion though I think?

    • +2

      $150 tracked just now.

  • Everyday Market (Capped at $150) 32%

New Woolworths Customers (Spend $200+) (Capped at $30) 15%

Existing Woolworths Customer (Spend $200+) 4%

what kind of Customer get 32%???

    • Woolworths customer means grocery order, not everyday market. Bit confusing because woolworths and everyday market are from same webpage. Also when you buy from everyday market it will track as Woolworths online in the description, normally takes a couple of days for correct 32% cashback to show.

  • +1

Last time when it was 22% I ordered a reolink doorbell and my cashback tracked correctly and arrived direct from Reolink just fine. I might order the door chime too if it's over $50…

  • +4

1 year later and these clowns are still arguing (read: quoting t&c’s that don’t apply) in effort to deny my 32% cash back on an Xbox series x. Never again, the difference between them and their competitors is night and day.

  • Motorola G85 from Big W looks deece IF the cashback come through. I personally wouldnt risk it.

Purchased two standing desk frames last year at around $330 each, both tracked and paid out.

Yet another one here who has been burned by Woolworths. Big cashback denied after following all the guidelines. Just not worth it.

  • Question, would TopCaskback "Highest Cashback Guarantee" works for this? https://www.topcashback.com.au/account/enquiries/highestcash… Would rather use TC for better support.

    • Unfortunately you would only get up to $50 cashback as TopCashback has a $50 cap. TopCashback highest cashback guarantee has to be like-for-like. I had enquired before.

      • Shame, looking how many people got burned before with lack of supports, I wouldn't dare the order Switch 2 today.

  • this was free shipping last night now shipping free is $17
    https://www.woolworths.com.au/shop/productdetails/1123044303…

  • Everyday extra 10% stacks?

    • any code nullifies cashback, anecdotally. Even if it tracks you may find out months later when it quietly gets rejected instead of confirmed to your account.

Read the recent deals to see how many of us have been burned by this, despite thinking a code was valid. I'll add - from experience - that I don't think WW/EM are particularly specific to SB about rejection reasons when a claim/dispute is raised. The goodwill payout(s) I've received have almost always included an SB rep noting that they did not receive details back from WW/EM when challenged.

Roll the dice at your own risk - good luck.

      • This has been the case with pretty much all stores though, using codes not listed on shopback invalidates the cashback and yes it will track giving the impression it’s all ok but later declined. I’ve bought 3 times on these deals and so far everyone has tracked and paid out and a 4th is meant to payout in 2 weeks.

        • Yep that’s why I said “anecdotally”. If you read the comments on similar deals there are too many examples of cashback being rejected months later for a variety of inconsistent reasons. Codes that were supposedly okay pay out for some and not others. Yet more get told the product was in some mysterious non-eligible category (unspecified, and impossible to confirm before purchase).

Many of these rejections occur after the claim period has ended.

Seriously if it has always worked out for you - great. I’m actually a fan of SB and continue to use it. But cashback success shouldn’t be so variable between users, and this merchant in particular has been flaky for many others.

          • +1

@MattyD: Yes I've read the past comments. It's just difficult to determine how many people actually were incorrectly rejected vs how many did not follow the exclusions. You always see people asking can they use a code or pay with giftcard etc despite it being in the exclusions list. I don't think shopback have ever listed a code for the everyday market during these large bonus cashback offers so I don't know where people get the Idea they would be included from.

Don't get me wrong I've been rejected in other deals months later due to the claim I clicked a different affiliate link and it's impossible to prove otherwise, I'm sure my time will come on 1 of these too. Frankly as cashback is getting more popular I think the ACCC at some point might step in as some of the practices seem quite anti-consumer, you have a situation where the cashback agency claims they weren't paid and as such the consumer doesn't get paid but we have no way to determine if the cashback agency is fleecing us here.

            • +1

@donkcat: mate agreed. Without knowing the specifics of each case, it's entirely possible it all works the way it should and many of us stuffed up an already-good offer by getting greedy and trying to stack - because we heard of a guy who mentioned a guy who it worked for once 😜

  • been eyeing basketball system for kids. All the negative feedback worries me. 32% is ex gst & delivery costs i assume?

    • +1

I personally never had issue, but I mostly ordered Lego (up to $200), never really do the big one (except the cancelled Switch 2, which had nothing to do with the tracking). But if you read other comments/threads, this kind of deal is always a mix result, which is more from Everyday Market themselves than Shopback.
32% is inc gst from past experience (there's no gst with this and most other market place), but yes, it'd exclude delivery cost.

  • cap per user or purchase, does anyone know?

    • +1

From memory it's default policy is cap per tx if it says nothing about "per user"

      • +1

        Other terms and conditions
        Everyday Market terms and conditions

        • When a cap is specified, it will apply per member for the length of the promotional period. E.g. $100 cap running alongside an upsized Cashback lasting 3 days, will allow for a maximum pay out of $100 per customer for the 3 day length of the promotion
        • Cashback will initially track at a lower rate. The correct amount will be updated within 3 working days after the upsized offer ends
        • Ah ok. Opposite of other SB terms

  • I was looking to stock up on some stuff with the discount but the user reviews here seem bad. I don't think I'll risk it.

Frankly every cashback site is seeming kind of sketchy, are some generally better than others?

    • +1

Yeah personally I've had no issues with CashRewards, which was the first one I ever used. ShopBack next and they were a nightmare so never bothered with TopCashback. Can't see them being worse than SB though

    • I honestly have similar experience with all 3 main cashback provider. A few of missing/untracked with all of them, but low percentage

  • Bite the bullet and ordered Basketball system for 161. Hoping it to track within few days, delivery is not set fit 5 days to be safe

  • +1

Tracked for me for 2 orders. Now lets wait for a year to see the cashback :)

    • I only made 1 lego order (from BigW) yesterday, tracked just fine. A bit of gamble as have to pay for delivery (instead of free if directly with BigW) and can't use any discount code, but if the cashback work, it'd make it better this way
