Great for cleaning retainers each week to get them back to new. Also good for any other kind of food-safe object that might be hard to otherwise clean and can't be exposed to high heat.

CamelCamelCamel.I wouldn't use polident for more than 5 minutes. It discolours dentures if soaked overnight for long term, so I wouldn't trust it on my MG or NG for anything overnight or longer than directed. I'd save your $100 on that mini ultrasonic! Just use a cup. And yes I make these things for a living. I still recommend Cal-Dent for things cough cough. But free samples of Polident are fun to give away.
For normal clear retainers this should be fine I imagine? I've been using it for years and haven't had an issue so far.
Been using one of these every day, is it better to only use once a week?
I got this last month for my new mouth guard I just got for grinding but my dentist actually advised me to just use water and toothbrush or dishwashing safe detergent and not these commercial cleaners for some reason.
Does anyone know if these can be used with the Zima Dental Cleaning Pod?
