For anyone who just wants curls, can I strongly recommend heatless hair curlers? Can get from kmart etc for under $5. Dry hair 80%, wrap and sleep in overnight. Results in all day curls for my kid with no product required.
Got the wife one from last bargain. Hated it the first few times she used it, but finally got the hang of it and now loves it. Curls need to be done with mostly wet hair. Much kinder on hair too. Recommended!
