I put mine under the eaves and when the eufy cam detects a person it turns on automatically. So effectively an expensive sensor light. Might use it at Xmas too.

How do you plug it in?
By hand normally
Connect the power adapter to the control unit and then plug it into a nearby power outlet. The adapter is rated as IP67 waterproof, suitable for outdoor use.

Only drawback is you cant join them, needs to be connected through individual power adapters
45m is max length on one power adaptor
you could buy 3x30m and make them to 2x45m strings though - thats the max you could string them up.
These lights are absolutely amazing and perfect for year-round use. I keep them set to a warm white on a built-in timer throughout the year, except during Christmas and Halloween, when they switch to beautiful festive colors.
They're connected to my CCTV system, so when motion is detected during a set time window, the lights turn on for a specific period and then automatically switch off.
I paid $239 for the 15m version last year, so this deal is a no-brainer. Not sure where I’m going to put this new set, but it’s too cheap not to buy 😄

yes, had it on backorder for ~10 days and then got an email that I can collect it in my local HN store in SA.
