PureVPN: 130% Cashback for New PureVPN Customers @ TopCashback AU

1780

130% PureVPN Cashback Offer Is Back 💰 Offer ends on Sunday 13th July 11:45pm AEST.

  • Only one (1) PureVPN purchase is permitted per member every 28 days (4 weeks). Check your TopCashback account to confirm last purchase date.
  • PureVPN is excluded from all signup and referral bonus thresholds.

If you have purchased from the last offer in June, please note the date (& time) eligible to buy in the table below. Use a new email address for PureVPN. Same payment card is fine.

Date Of Last Purchase Date Eligible To Buy
Fri 13th June 2025 Fri 11th July 2025
Sat 14th June 2025 Sat 12th July 2025
Sun 15th June 2025 Sun 13th July 2025 by 11:45pm AEST

My Tips:

  • Choose Max 2-year plan (+ 6 months) US$99.95 for the best value. Do NOT grab the 5-year plan offer in the pop-up. 5-year plan and add-ons are ineligible for cashback.
  • Pay with a card without international transaction fees if possible.
  • If you use PayPal AU, PayPal may charge a currency conversion fee. It seems not possible to change currency to USD to bill the card in USD instead of AUD.
  • Tracking may take up to 4 hours.
  • If your order doesn't track or you're not happy with PureVPN, please cancel and request for a refund from PureVPN within 31 days under their 31-day money-back guarantee.
  • If you cancel for non-tracking, you can buy again. Use a new email address for PureVPN with the same TopCashback account. Same payment card is fine.
  • You can cancel auto-renewal/subscription after you have received cashback.

TA's Tips:

  • A new email address for PureVPN is considered a new customer.
  • Prior to using TopCashback, disable/remove all 3rd party plugins (AdBlock, uBlock, Pi-hole, Honey, etc), VPNs, and avoid browsers such as Brave. Ensure you accept cookies on PureVPN's landing page if requested, which holds true for any retailer.
  • For iOS device: Apart from ensuring you’re not using an AdBlock app for Safari, the most important one is to ensure you have ‘Prevent Cross-Site Tracking’ turned off (see here).
  • Also important to remember that should tracking fail for whatever reason, please cancel using their free 31-day money-back guarantee policy. No point lodging a claim to possibly have it rejected by PureVPN as attributed elsewhere.

What will stop me getting my cashback

  • Cashback is eligible only on 1-year, 2-year, and monthly plans (Standard, Plus, Max). Cashback is ineligible on 5-year plan, Teams multi-user plans, and/or add-ons.
  • Only one (1) PureVPN purchase is permitted per member every 28 days (4 weeks). Check your TopCashback account to confirm last purchase date.
  • PureVPN is excluded from all signup and referral bonus thresholds. Reference the Tell-a-Friend terms for more information.
  • Cashback can only be earned by customers opening a new PureVPN account. Renewals are ineligible for cashback.
  • Cashback is ineligible on payments made with Crypto currency.
  • Cashback is ineligible on use of any codes not approved and posted by TopCashback.
  • Cashback is ineligible on use of gift cards for payment and/or purchase of gift cards.
  • Cashback is ineligible on purchases made via the retailer's mobile app.

What else is essential

  • Cashback is calculated and paid on the advertised cost of the plan only. It will exclude upsold products, GST, other taxes, credit card or PayPal surcharges.
  • Engaging with plugins such as Honey, AdBlock, uBlock, Pi-hole, VPNs, and browsers such as Brave may prevent your order from tracking.
  • You must always return to TopCashback and click the pink cashback button through to the retailer's website for each new transaction. Ensure the TopCashback link is the last one used to visit the retailer's website prior to completing your purchase.
  • Any accounts that engage in fraudulent orders/activities to game/cheat the cashback system will be banned and cashback forfeited.

Good to know

  • Most retailers calculate cashback based on purchase amount excluding GST, other taxes, and delivery fees. Your cashback may report lower than expected due to this.
  • If an order is cancelled / returned / exchanged / modified, it will no longer be eligible for cashback and will be declined in your account.
  • To be eligible for cashback, all transactions must be completed solely & wholly online and must not be assisted/negotiated via phone/chat/email. Failure to do so will cause tracking to fail and/or have cashback declined.

Mod Edit: From Rep - Deal ends 23:45 AEST Sunday.

just commenting to say this does work and I got paid from january(?) i think it was
dont forget to cancel your subscription once you get your cashback

    • You mean turning off the auto renewal? Or cancel the account to clear everything.

      • +6

either or. i never even used the VPN

      • How do u turn off auto renewal?

        • I don't think there is a method to turn off "Auto-Renewal" anymore. Best option is to "Cancel" it "AFTER" your cashback has been paid out in full.
The subscription will remain active through to the expiry date. I always set a reminder for 4 months down the line and do this after checking CB has been received.

    • still got 1 confirmed from April and 1 pending from June. too risky?

      • Up to you but April purchases would be due for payment soon.

June orders would be pending. Estimated payable is 16 weeks.

Any issues, TA and TopCashback have been quick to sort out.

        Please see my comment here.

        • what's ur average profit, mine comes to under $30 each, how to maximise it?

          • @RTX9090Ti: use a no-fee card like "Wise" or "Ubank" - no exchange fees and gives you near mid-market rates…I don't know how topcashback converts USD to AUD to calculate cashback though…

          • +1

@RTX9090Ti: PureVPN purchases from April have just been paid today.

    • How do I cancel my subscription but still be able to use it until 2027? I grabbed this deal some months ago now and I actually use the VPN. I just want to remove the auto renewal as i'm afraid I might forget it and get charged in 2027

      • I want to know as well as i couldnt find the option to turn auto renew off.

        • I think what I did pastime to cancel the sub after it’s paid and you still can use the vpn until it’s expired

  • +1

Just a heads up for anyone doing this. I jumped on the May offer and my cashback only JUST got confirmed.

    • +5

Cashback for May purchase was confirmed last week on 5th July. Estimated payable is 16 weeks.
Click "+" in your transaction on the TCB website to see these details.

Cashback is usually paid in about 3 to 3.5 months. Here is a summary of my PureVPN transactions.

      • 13 June Purchase date - Pending
      • 16 May Purchase date - Confirmed on 5 July
      • 18 April Purchase date - Confirmed on 5 June (Should be paid soon)
      • 1 March Purchase date - Paid on 31 May
      • 18 Jan Purchase date - Paid on 17 April
      • @Chadlynx Update: April purchases for PureVPN have just been paid today.

      • Do u use different emails for every purchase?

        • You will need to use a different email for each purchase otherwise cashback could be rejected.

    • It’s been over a month now since I joined on July 13, and I’m still waiting for confirmation. I’ve already lodged a claim with TopCashback but haven’t received any updates yet. At this point, it’s too late for me to cancel, so I really hope the confirmation comes through soon.

Did you also have to wait more than a month for yours?

      • +1

As per my comment, I purchased in May and it was confirmed in July.

        • +1

@Alwaysagooner As you have submitted a missing cashback claim, you won't see 'confirmed' which is for tracked purchases.

For claims, TopCashback does not add the tracking manually. There is no tracking initially. After the claim is paid, then you will see the transaction track in your account.

My July purchase that tracked is still pending and not confirmed yet. Orders from May were paid on 14th August.

Estimated payable for orders that tracked is 16 weeks (max). You would expect to be paid in about the same time frame (or sometimes longer) for a claim.

You can check on the progress of your claim or add further info here.

Also refer to: I have lodged a 'missing cashback' claim; why is it taking so long for you to process?

It is recommended to cancel and request for a refund from VPN companies (with their 30/31-day money-back guarantee) when VPN purchases don't track. This is preferred to lodging a missing cashback claim in case of rejections.

          Good luck with the claim.

          • +1

@trixieb: Thanks for the detailed explanation. That clears things up a lot. I didn’t realise that claims only show up after being paid, so that makes sense now.
Since my July purchase still hasn’t tracked, I’ll keep waiting and hopefully it confirms within the timeframe you mentioned. It’s a bit too late for me to cancel now, but I’ll definitely keep your tip in mind about using the refund option for VPNs if tracking fails in the future.
            Appreciate the guidance

        • @Chadlynx Just checking your May purchase was also paid on 14th August mentioned here.

        • Thanks for clarifying

Any experience on how this works for Firesticks and Google TV Streamer 4k?

I have used nordvpn on the tv streamer, and it seems to work well, by downloading the app.

    • Using this on streamer. Works just fine. Install app and hit connect.

  • This or wait for next Nord ?

    • +7

Some of us are buying this for the profit and not using the VPN. NordVPN is better if you want VPN.

      • What makes it inferior to NordVPN?

        • +1

YouTube ad free doesn’t work on PureVPN. Works great on Nordvpn.

Haven’t tried recently unless PureVPN has fixed the YouTube ad free feature

        • Probably not relevant for most but NordVPN supports socks5 which is useful for integration with some other systems. For example I use it in certain docker containers.

      • +4

I got both, Nordvpn and Purevpn they both do not work on any hotel wifi in China. They all block VPN protocols

        • Is there a VPN that works in China? Arrived China yesterday and realised my VPN does not work.

          • +1

@SuperFly 001: The locals suggest Astrill, Mullvad or LetsVPN.

Out of the ozbargain regular deals I got surfshark to work, but it was a bit patchy (had to keep changing servers between HK, JP and VN when they dropped out).

If you have an eSIM that shouldn't have any restrictions so you could use that until you can get a VPN up and running.

          • +1

@SuperFly 001: I wouldn't bother mucking around with different VPN providers. Just get roaming eSIM either via Singapore or Europe and call it done

Hong Kong eSIMs got limitation as HK is also part of China

      • I use them all for all my 6 devices, so win-win.

    • +1

      Why not both?

  • +3

Grabbed this deal in May it tracked in 30mins Ive never had a problem with topcash .lots of with shopback I avoid them .

  • Don't use PayPal to pay can't switch to pay in USD via Credit card had to be AUD conversion via PayPal

    Maybe get a wise card

    • +2

Macquarie and UBank debit cards are fine to use directly too.

      • Yes but you risk not having PayPal dispute if something was to go wrong

  • How do they even make money with this kind of offers? Are we the product?

    • +3

Of course. Your traffic data thru them is gold.

    • The same saying if it's too good to be true you are the product. Your personal details is also the product

    • It's a standard subscription business model. They keep your payment details on file waiting for following years sub. They profit from people who forget to unsubscribe. A limited paid trial period does not make you "the product" lol.

    • People forget to cancel the subscription, same as anything.

      NordVPN is better anyway.

can you use +email trick in gmail or do you need a completely new email address?

    • +2

      What is the +email trick?

    • +3
      • I don't get how the others use it. Unlike with the plus or full stop method (which don't won't with purevpn), emails won't go to your inbox does it? I tried sending an email to my email with the center dot and it wouldn't go through. This is where I copied it from if that helps https://symbolsdb.com/dot-symbol

        • +2

If you're referring to the dots in the comments the link goes to, that's OzBargain auto formatting things as a dot, not that the user used that centred dot thing. They were saying "+ or ." method, and OzB changed it to the middle dot. E.g.:

          • the first character of this is a +
. the first character of this is a .
          • the first character of this is a -
    • I got my own domain to spam email address on tho.

"If you use PayPal, PayPal may charge a currency conversion fee. It seems not possible to change currency to USD to bill the card in USD instead of AUD."

This is a bit misleading. We are getting charged in USD.
What does that mean "It seems not possible to change currency to USD to bill the card in USD instead of AUD."? The billed currency is USD. AUD is not relevant here, we are not billed in AUD.
My paypal is in USD, I thought we will be charged in AUD based on this statement, so I used my cba card, which was charged in USD and probably incurred some fees.

    • Not sure how yours is set up but I was charged currency conversion fee when I used PayPal with a card without international transaction fees. Other people also experienced this with PureVPN.

I now use a debit card directly and avoid PayPal to save on the fee. With AliExpress, I was able to change the currency so it charges in USD at the final payment page and avoid this fee with PayPal. PureVPN doesn't appear to allow this currency change.

      • -4

I usually use my Paypal for USD purchases, never occur any fees. As I have a USD paypal account.
From this statement "It seems not possible to change currency to USD to bill the card in USD instead of AUD." I thought we will be charged in AUD, so I used my cba instead, which added around 7aud extra as fees and currency exchange.

        • +1

Most of us have PayPal AU as we live in Australia. Any comments will usually be referenced to Australia.

    • In this case PureVPN charges in USD but Paypal will automatically convert it to you base currency (AUD) before charging your card in AUD, it will use its own crappy exchange rate for this without asking you. If you use your card directly without Paypal, your card will be charged in USD and will handle the conversion itself with a better rate. That's why it's recommended to use a card directly that does not have international transaction fees as per the post.

  • What is the approx net profit on 2 year plan?

    • My net profit was $39 in June using a card without foreign transaction fees directly (not PayPal).

      • thanks mate, I may use Wise or Revolut for no foreign transaction fees

        • +1

Wise is preferred. Revolut has a weekend fee which starts on Sat 7am AEST. No weekend fee on Fri in Australia.

        • The net profit is less in this offer because the price is cheaper at US$99.95. Previous offer was US$109.95. Cashback is relative to the price.

          • @trixieb: Yes but you pay more for the initial price. Just the same cashback waiting time but less profit that's all

            Time is money.

      • which credit card?

    • +1

      About $35 AUD it seems

  • +2

    Pure profit

  • Has your cashback tracked? If so, how long did it take?

    • I'm not able to buy yet. From previous orders, tracking can be as quick as 20 minutes and up to 4 hours. Tracking seems to be done in batches.

    • +1

EDIT: Mine just tracked 188.30 - took around 20 mins

  • Paid $152.21
    Tracked $188.30
    Profit $36.09

    • -1

      Interest loss = ?

      • +1

        Around $2.50 assuming 5%

  • +1

11.45am - Ordered in TCB app, card charged $153.18 (USD99.95).
    12.07pm - Cashback tracked for $188.30.

    Profit = $35.12 + 2.5 years VPN

    • +3

@simplerick The net profit is less in this offer because the price is cheaper at US$99.95. Previous offer was US$109.95. Cashback is relative to the price.

    • Got the same amount being charged and tracked cashback

  • +2

Do not attempt to purchase with Revolut disposable card, it will not work.

    • +2

      Use the normal visa

    • Why is that so Wise card won't work neither

  • +2

what happens if you buy too early? will it still track and reject when payment due?

all mine have tracked but it was never clear I'd have to be watching the time as described here

    • +1

Good point, hopefully it doesn't track so we'd know to cancel straight away.

I purchased on Sunday last time, I wonder if the 28 days is calculated after the time of paying, or time of the order tracking?

    • +3

Would love @tightarse to weigh in here. Its ambiguous as the T&Cs state: "Only one (1) PureVPN purchase is permitted per member every 28 days (4 weeks). Check your TopCashback account to confirm last purchase date."

No mention of the time of last purchase coming in to play to calculate the 28 days. Also TCB accounts do not display time of purchase to the user.

It will definitely still track if its under 28 days but unclear if TCB will honour it.

      • You had commented about the time in the last offer. On the safe side, I mentioned to note the time as you suggested.

If you keep your emails from TopCashback or PureVPN, you can have a rough idea of the time. I know the date is the most important. PureVPN had tracked previously when purchased earlier on the same day.

        • +2

Yes, I raise this every thread lol. I will keep pushing for an official answer!

          • @stripe: Perhaps even PureVPN doesnt know lol

        • I bought at 11pm on Sunday 15th June last time but 1PM today, hopefully it gets approved

  • great

  • If you forget to cancel and it gets renewed after 30 months.. do you have a 31 day money back guarantee?

  • +1

I'll be able to buy this again tomorrow :P

    • Yay!

  • Was using my Revolut and didnt have enough balance on the card I was using, PureVPN applied a 20% discount and tried again. Got the 2year max plan for US$79.99

    • awesome, haha. let us know what your cashback total tracks to see the amount you gained.
