PureVPN: 130% Cashback for New PureVPN Customers @ TopCashback AU

1271

130% PureVPN Cashback Offer Is Back 💰 Offer expires on Sun 15th June 11:45pm AEST.

  • Only one (1) PureVPN purchase is permitted per member every 28 days (4 weeks). Check your TopCashback account to confirm last purchase date.
  • PureVPN is excluded from all signup and referral bonus thresholds.

If you have purchased from the last offer in May, please note the date (& time) eligible to buy in the table below. Use a new email address for PureVPN. Same payment card is fine.

Date Of Last Purchase Date Eligible To Buy
Fri 16th May 2025 Fri 13th June 2025
Sat 17th May 2025 Sat 14th June 2025
Sun 18th May 2025 Sun 15th June 2025 by 11:45pm AEST

My Tips:

  • Choose Max 2-year plan (+ 6 months) US$109.95 for the best value. Do NOT grab the 5-year plan offer in the pop-up. 5-year plan and add-ons are ineligible for cashback.
  • Pay with a card without foreign transaction fees if possible.
  • If you use PayPal, PayPal may charge a currency conversion fee. It seems not possible to change currency to USD to bill the card in USD instead of AUD.
  • Tracking may take up to 4 hours.
  • If your order doesn't track or you're not happy with PureVPN, please cancel and request for a refund from PureVPN within 31 days under their 31-day money-back guarantee.
  • If you cancel for non-tracking, you can buy again. Use a new email address for PureVPN with the same TopCashback account. Same payment card is fine.
  • You can cancel auto-renewal after you have received cashback.

TA's Tips:

  • A new email address for PureVPN is considered a new customer.
  • Prior to using TopCashback, disable/remove all 3rd party plugins (AdBlock, uBlock, Pi-hole, Honey, etc), VPNs, and avoid browsers such as Brave. Ensure you accept cookies on PureVPN's landing page if requested, which holds true for any retailer.
  • For iOS device: Apart from ensuring you’re not using an AdBlock app for Safari, the most important one is to ensure you have ‘Prevent Cross-Site Tracking’ turned off (see here).
  • Also important to remember that should tracking fail for whatever reason, please cancel using their free 31-day money-back guarantee policy. No point lodging a claim to possibly have it rejected by PureVPN as attributed elsewhere.

What will stop me getting my cashback

  • Cashback is eligible only on 1-year, 2-year, and monthly plans (Standard, Plus, Max). Cashback is ineligible on 5-year plan, Teams multi-user plans, and/or add-ons.
  • Only one (1) PureVPN purchase is permitted per member every 28 days (4 weeks). Check your TopCashback account to confirm last purchase date.
  • PureVPN is excluded from all signup and referral bonus thresholds. Reference the Tell-a-Friend terms for more information.
  • Cashback can only be earned by customers opening a new PureVPN account. Renewals are ineligible for cashback.
  • Cashback is ineligible on payments made with Crypto currency.
  • Cashback is ineligible on use of any codes not approved and posted by TopCashback.
  • Cashback is ineligible on use of gift cards for payment and/or purchase of gift cards.
  • Cashback is ineligible on purchases made via the retailer's mobile app.

What else is essential

  • Cashback is calculated and paid on the advertised cost of the plan only. It will exclude upsold products, GST, other taxes, credit card or PayPal surcharges.
  • Engaging with plugins such as Honey, AdBlock, uBlock, Pi-hole, VPNs, and browsers such as Brave may prevent your order from tracking.
  • You must always return to TopCashback and click the pink cashback button through to the retailer's website for each new transaction. Ensure the TopCashback link is the last one used to visit the retailer's website prior to completing your purchase.
  • Any accounts that engage in fraudulent orders/activities to game/cheat the cashback system will be banned and cashback forfeited.

Good to know

  • Most retailers calculate cashback based on purchase amount excluding GST, other taxes, and delivery fees. Your cashback may report lower than expected due to this.
  • If an order is cancelled / returned / exchanged / modified, it will no longer be eligible for cashback and will be declined in your account.
  • To be eligible for cashback, all transactions must be completed solely & wholly online and must not be assisted/negotiated via phone/chat/email. Failure to do so will cause tracking to fail and/or have cashback declined.

I signed up the last deal in May. haven't received the cashback yet. When will I get it?

    • +1

in my case from Jan, it took exactly 90 days, paid in April. the tracking only few hours.

      • +2

@memeetw To clarify, did your purchase in May tracked? If it hasn't tracked, you still have time to cancel with PureVPN for a refund using their 31-day money-back guarantee policy.

If your May purchase has tracked, it would show "pending" with an estimated payable of 16 weeks in your TopCashback account.

Cashback is usually paid in about 3 to 3.5 months. Here is a summary of my PureVPN transactions. I've done a few, only with TopCashback.

        • 16 May Purchase date - Pending
        • 18 April Purchase date - Confirmed on 5 June
        • 1 March Purchase date - Paid on 31 May
        • 18 Jan Purchase date - Paid on 17 April
        • The catch is you need to pay for it first around $200 out of pocket, before getting the profit back.

          • +2

@RTX9090Ti: Once we do this enough, the out-of-pocket would have been from PureVPN's pocket! 😂

            • @darthsparrow: at least 7-8x to break even. too risky.

              • +1

@RTX9090Ti: These >100% purevpn cashback deals have been running approximately every month since 2023. If TCB had scammed they would have been out of here long ago.

                • @Undercut 2241: averaging at 90 days paid casback, so approx $600ish capital to 'invest' for $90ish cashback. still quite a lot down payment.

                  • @RTX9090Ti: I've bought PureVPN since August last year via TopCashback only, due to TA working there. I've had non-tracking with PureVPN. Had to cancel for a refund and sign up again. I haven't bought with Cashrewards or ShopBack and will stick with TopCashback only. I'm not a risk taker either.

                  • +2

@RTX9090Ti: It's closer on average to $510 capital for $120-135ish return every 90 days. It's the equivalent of an interest rate of 100% p.a, which imo is worth the risk given the current reputation of TCB. I've so far made ~$400 of confirmed profit across TCB and Shopback from PureVPN (Yes I took risks with Shopback)

                    • @nategasm: Lol was there that many deals from Purevpn cashback across both platforms. Mate you certain took risks. I wouldn't use shopback due to their data leak issue which got hacked before

                      • @neonlight: Yes there was, only used Shopback couple of times though. Also some of the previous cashbacks allowed the more expensive 5 year plan so you essentially got double the usual profit.

          • @RTX9090Ti: Not if you got the humm90 offer https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/899867, I still haven't have to pay for my order in April yet

        • This might sound crazy is this how you guys bank on Purevpn to make profits as a side hustle. I mean what's stopping you to use different emails for May and now June. Means 130% profit each time just need 16 weeks to claim each

I mean $40 profit each time sounds about right with $160 put in

  • If it has tracked, usually takes around 60-90 days

    • +2

So the cancel within 30 days is irrelevant?

      • I think they meant that it takes 60-90 days to receive the cash back. Not track

        • yeah, no cashback takes that long to track haha

          • @simplerick: Cashback is usually paid in about 90 days. It is "confirmed" in about 60 days. You're lucky if you were paid in 60 days 😀

      • +1

Cancel within 30 days if not tracked, if its tracked wait up to 90 days for cashback payment and then cancel.

        • @RTX9090Ti To clarify, cancel for a refund with PureVPN if not tracked within 31 days under their 31-day money-back guarantee policy.

The PureVPN transaction in my account says estimated payable in 16 weeks. Wait up to 16 weeks but cashback is usually paid in around 90 days.

After cashback is paid, you can cancel auto-renewal and the account.

      • @BatmanAU If your order has not tracked, you would cancel for a refund with PureVPN within 31 days of purchase using their 31-day money-back guarantee policy.

Tracking may take up to 4 hours. If your order has tracked, cashback is usually paid in about 3 to 3.5 months. The order is usually "confirmed" in about 2 months.

After cashback is paid, you can cancel auto-renewal and the account.

        • +1

Awesome, I haven’t used cashback and have been thinking about it, wasn’t sure how tracked worked

        • Why would you cancel the account? (with Nord I presume)

  • how do they make money?

    • +6

I’m guessing from people that don’t have it tracked properly or forget to cancel subscription

    • +3

Repeat business (see: forgetting to cancel subscriptions) and large margins

  • +1

Thanks for the headsup OP, and again with the ultra-helpful table of dates! Kaching!

    • Thanks. You are eligible to buy on the last day of offer on Sun 15th June 2025 by 9:45pm Perth time. Use a new email address 😀 I asked TA the expiry of offer.

      • New email address works if using same old payment method?

There is a term from TCB that:
Any accounts that engage in fraudulent orders/activities to game/cheat the cashback

        • +1

@FatTofu To be eligible for cashback in this offer:

          • New email address for PureVPN is required
          • Same payment card is fine
          • Use the same TopCashback account

For this offer, the main term is "Only one (1) PureVPN purchase is permitted per member every 28 days (4 weeks)".

The term you referenced about "fraudulent orders etc" is a general term for all TCB orders which could mean having multiple accounts in the same household etc.

  • Thanks been look for this, unsure why they do 130% and not 100%

    • +1

Some of us are buying for the profit 💰 with the 130% cashback but not using the VPN.

      • Not a bad investment so $109.95 x 130% is $142 USD is great value in return

  • +2

Has anybody previously used PureVPN and can comment on detection in common geo-pricing areas? Argentina, Turkiye, Nigeria, etc

  • If I get this with portforwarding, is the original plan still eligible for cashback? Or is the whole thing not going to be tracked if I buy an addon?

    • Cashback is ineligible on 5-year plan, Teams multi-user plans, and/or add-ons.

      Just don't do it

      • Yeah just got the plan normally, I'll buy the port forwarding later..

  • Has anybody used this for scraping?

    • What are you scraping?

      • Whose data?

  • Can anyone confirm (from experience) whether using a + extension in an email address will count as a new user? i.e. [email protected] instead of [email protected]
Sick of creating all these new emails

      • Tried one of these yesterday - got a pop up error message. Used the <something>.anonaddy.com version - clean (cookies cleared etc) browser.

Have you been successful in getting this to work, and if so, do you have any tips on getting this to work?

    • +1
      • or . worked for a gmail account in May, can't remember which. You'll get credit card issues/errors when you try pay if it doesn't like your email…
    • +2
      • has worked for me last few times using gmail, so far no issues with tracking
    • +1
      • Can confirm it works with protonmail too, pm.me address
  • No end date is specified

  • +10

Hey guys. Just commenting here to manage expectations. We've just noticed a reporting delay from the affiliate network responsible for PureVPN, which also affects many other retailers such as Myer, Sony, Woolworths, Virgin, Uber Eats, Lenovo etc. This is unfortunately something we have no control over, however please note that transactions are not lost - they are merely delayed. At this stage, please allow a lot longer than the estimated 4 hours for tracking. I'll update you as I know more. Have a wonderful day ahead :)

    • +1

Thanks for the heads-up. When does the PureVPN offer end? Thanks.

      • +3

        23:45 AEST Sunday 15/06/2025.

    • My last purevpn cashback was on 18 May. Can you confirm a new transaction on 15 June will be confirmed by purevpn?

      • This happened to me last time, they said I had to purchase at a later time so it’s at least 28 days exactly. My purchase was after 11pm so the window is getting smaller each time lol.
No idea why they keep running this promotion every 28 days though, would be nice to have a couple days extra

        • @maximak It's the same as the previous offer with 28 days exactly. I had checked with TA and it's eligible for cashback.

        • @pennypacker42069 Set your alarm clock 😂

        • +1

Yeah I’ll wait for the next one to avoid disappointment. Thanks for the info.

        • @pennypacker42069 To clarify, you are referring to your previous comment here about buying late on the last day of offer but it tracked the next day.

          • @trixieb: Yes, 2 cycles ago I purchased it at 10:54pm then last cycle I purchased just after 11pm. Will need to keep creeping later each time until they increase the time between promotions lol

    • +2

Tracking speed is slowly returning to normal. Please still allow around 4 hours to be safe. Have a wonderful weekend everyone :)

      • -1

        Stay safe TA 😂

        • -1

          😂

    • Can you please let us know if using the same payment card but different email address as last deal would be deemed by TCB as:

Any accounts that engage in fraudulent orders/activities to game/cheat the cashback

      • +1

        No, it's not. Answered here.

    • Hey tightarse, for the 28 day period, is it from time of purchase or time of tracking?

  • Silly question but can I turn on the vpn straight away after I've bought it? Or do I need to wait until the cashback has come through?

    • +1

After you have bought it, you can turn on the PureVPN straightaway. You don't have to wait for cashback to come through. That's with all cashback purchases.

Cashback for PureVPN is usually paid in about 3 to 3.5 months.

If your order doesn't track or you're not happy with PureVPN, please cancel and request for a refund from PureVPN within 31 days under their 31-day money-back guarantee.

If you cancel for non-tracking, you can buy again. Use a new email address for PureVPN with the same TopCashback account.

  • Can PureVPN get around China's great firewall?

    • +1

I remember it works, but only limited locations for the VPN connection available in China

  • Can we use the same credit card as the last purchase, but different emails?

    • Yes, I've been using the same card with different emails. A new email address for PureVPN seems to be the only requirement to be considered a new customer for cashback.

  • Paid $168.80
    CB tracked $208.93
    $40.13 profit!

    • Great. How long did it take to track? The possible delay may have been fixed.

      • +1

        Tracked just under 2 hours

    • Purchase amount: $161.84
      CB tracked: 210.39
      Estimated profit (difference): $48.55

Payable in 16 weeks. Comes with 2.5 years VPN use

This is via PayPal last night with mastercard no fee. Couldn't get it to convert to US as payment had to use PayPal exchange rate

Does it look right to you? Not sure why a bit different to yours…

I had to disable IPS firewall, Adblockers and use Chrome allow cookies everything to make it work

      • Actually it's 177.46 on bank card so only tracked $161.84

Meaning 210.39-177.46 so only $32.93 profit so merely 18% not 30% sadly

        • Unfortunately your use of PayPal would have incurred PayPal currency conversion fees as mentioned in the post description under My Tips. Fees are not eligible for cashback. I had used PayPal a few times for VPN purchases and paid the extra amount similar to yours. I chose PayPal for security reasons which could be worthwhile.

Without PayPal, on Fri, mine was:

          Paid AU$169.81 (TCB shows AU$160.71)
          Cashback AU$208.93
          Profit $39.12

          • @trixieb: Yeah the problem is PayPal gives that purchase protection. Charging directly to credit card means if something was to go wrong pretty much you are on your own and need to contact the credit card provider or bank…

It's close to $7 difference with or without card between yours and mine so perhaps it's ok to have PayPal payment couldn't change to charge via PayPal and use your own bank conversion rate

            • @neonlight: Also mentioned in the post description, PureVPN in PayPal won't allow payment to be changed from AUD to USD (unlike AliExpress). I used a card without international transaction fees.

There are no PayPal fees with a Wise virtual card and USD balance in the PayPal account confirmed here. I don't have a Wise card.

              • @trixieb: Yeah I realised this. However what I did know is there a huge difference with PayPal exchange rate vs credit card Mastercard rate it's rort really.

As for wise card never owned one. Not sure if wise got a fee

                • +1

@neonlight: I agree PayPal currency conversion fees are too high. Wise is preferred over Revolut as Revolut charges a fee for the weekend (Sat & Sun). I don't have those cards.

                  • @trixieb: Also there's always a risk to give your credit card number out. So many scams and fraud happening these days so I guess this PayPal exchange rate is so they can earn a profit giving you that protection but still the rate is on the high side.

I'm not sure why unlike Aliexpress it allows you to pay USD and this Purevpn does not. Which is the main reason. If that option was available would have been the best choice, no credit card exposure and PayPal protection with better exchange rates directly via mastercard

                    • @neonlight: No idea why PureVPN doesn't allow the currency change.

I had used my credit card a few times with PayPal for VPN purchases. Without PayPal, I've changed to using a debit card (not credit) directly. This may minimise the risk of fraud due to the limited balance in the account.

Just checked Wise. Wise virtual cards have different card numbers, CVV codes and expiry dates for security reasons. A Wise physical card will cost $10.

                      • @trixieb: @neonlight I recommend creating an account with Revolut, it's free. That's what I did after I a few of these PureVPN purchases and got sick of Paypal's terrible exchange rate. (You can use a Revolut referral link on Ozbargain if you want to help a random Ozbargainer out.)

Revolut's exchange rate is very close to the actual exchange at the time. You'll save a few dollars every PureVPN purchase which adds up over time. Revolut does charge a 1% weekend exchange fee (think it's 7am Sat to 7am Mon AEST). But even if purchased during that timeframe, the purchase will still be cheaper than if purchased through Paypal.

                        • @Alinnia: Thanks. Wise virtual cards are free though.

If I were to choose between Wise and Revolut, I would prefer Wise as Wise has no fees on the weekend. They both had data breaches but not too keen on this Revolut news.

                          • @trixieb: Oof I didn't know about Revolut's data breach but seeing as it happened in 2022 I would assume they've drastically increased their security since those incidents so that it wouldn't happen again. (Like how Shopback had a data breach in 2020 and a lot of Ozbargainers still use Shopback.)

I only signed up to Revolut in late 2024. I remember at the time I was tossing up between Wise and Revolut. I decided to go with Revolut as I read on Ozbargain that Wise required a $10 payment to order the physical card first before can get a Wise virtual card source. If someone who has Wise can let us know if that has changed or not, that would clarify things.

                            • @Alinnia: @neoleo Do you need to have a Wise physical card (costs $10) with a Wise account? It wasn't clear on the website and chat support is unavailable. The virtual cards are free. Thanks.

                              • +2

@trixieb: If you only need the virtual cards and could get them without the physical card, then it's up to you if you don't want to order the physical card.

  • The varying Feedback on the PureVPN software is interesting.

PC Mag give it a 4 star 'Excellent' review, but when you search on Reddit, there are so many strong comments against it.

Some of us are buying for the profit but not using the VPN.

      • Proud moment.

Anyone getting "Error Detected - Unfortunately, we cannot process your request at the moment" when attempting to make payment?

  • payment error, is it because of card used previously ? anyone having the same issue?

Not sure but I replied here.

  • it's a flamin' piggy bank in thongs, mate!

  • Just bought with ING and was charged $169.81. Lets see how long it takes to be tracked. I did it on the browser without the plug in but it did say 'We've recorded your visit' on the pureVPN TopCashback page.

    • +1

Cashback tracked - 208.93, profit around 39 bucks and 2.5 years of VPN. Cheers.
