1280

130% PureVPN Cashback Offer Is Back 💰 Offer expires on Sun 15th June 11:45pm AEST.

  • Only one (1) PureVPN purchase is permitted per member every 28 days (4 weeks). Check your TopCashback account to confirm last purchase date.
  • PureVPN is excluded from all signup and referral bonus thresholds.

If you have purchased from the last offer in May, please note the date (& time) eligible to buy in the table below. Use a new email address for PureVPN. Same payment card is fine.

Date Of Last Purchase Date Eligible To Buy
Fri 16th May 2025 Fri 13th June 2025
Sat 17th May 2025 Sat 14th June 2025
Sun 18th May 2025 Sun 15th June 2025 by 11:45pm AEST

My Tips:

  • Choose Max 2-year plan (+ 6 months) US$109.95 for the best value. Do NOT grab the 5-year plan offer in the pop-up. 5-year plan and add-ons are ineligible for cashback.
  • Pay with a card without foreign transaction fees if possible.
  • If you use PayPal, PayPal may charge a currency conversion fee. It seems not possible to change currency to USD to bill the card in USD instead of AUD.
  • Tracking may take up to 4 hours.
  • If your order doesn't track or you're not happy with PureVPN, please cancel and request for a refund from PureVPN within 31 days under their 31-day money-back guarantee.
  • If you cancel for non-tracking, you can buy again. Use a new email address for PureVPN with the same TopCashback account. Same payment card is fine.
  • You can cancel auto-renewal after you have received cashback.

TA's Tips:

  • A new email address for PureVPN is considered a new customer.
  • Prior to using TopCashback, disable/remove all 3rd party plugins (AdBlock, uBlock, Pi-hole, Honey, etc), VPNs, and avoid browsers such as Brave. Ensure you accept cookies on PureVPN's landing page if requested, which holds true for any retailer.
  • For iOS device: Apart from ensuring you’re not using an AdBlock app for Safari, the most important one is to ensure you have ‘Prevent Cross-Site Tracking’ turned off (see here).
  • Also important to remember that should tracking fail for whatever reason, please cancel using their free 31-day money-back guarantee policy. No point lodging a claim to possibly have it rejected by PureVPN as attributed elsewhere.

What will stop me getting my cashback

  • Cashback is eligible only on 1-year, 2-year, and monthly plans (Standard, Plus, Max). Cashback is ineligible on 5-year plan, Teams multi-user plans, and/or add-ons.
  • Only one (1) PureVPN purchase is permitted per member every 28 days (4 weeks). Check your TopCashback account to confirm last purchase date.
  • PureVPN is excluded from all signup and referral bonus thresholds. Reference the Tell-a-Friend terms for more information.
  • Cashback can only be earned by customers opening a new PureVPN account. Renewals are ineligible for cashback.
  • Cashback is ineligible on payments made with Crypto currency.
  • Cashback is ineligible on use of any codes not approved and posted by TopCashback.
  • Cashback is ineligible on use of gift cards for payment and/or purchase of gift cards.
  • Cashback is ineligible on purchases made via the retailer's mobile app.

What else is essential

  • Cashback is calculated and paid on the advertised cost of the plan only. It will exclude upsold products, GST, other taxes, credit card or PayPal surcharges.
  • Engaging with plugins such as Honey, AdBlock, uBlock, Pi-hole, VPNs, and browsers such as Brave may prevent your order from tracking.
  • You must always return to TopCashback and click the pink cashback button through to the retailer's website for each new transaction. Ensure the TopCashback link is the last one used to visit the retailer's website prior to completing your purchase.
  • Any accounts that engage in fraudulent orders/activities to game/cheat the cashback system will be banned and cashback forfeited.

Good to know

  • Most retailers calculate cashback based on purchase amount excluding GST, other taxes, and delivery fees. Your cashback may report lower than expected due to this.
  • If an order is cancelled / returned / exchanged / modified, it will no longer be eligible for cashback and will be declined in your account.
  • To be eligible for cashback, all transactions must be completed solely & wholly online and must not be assisted/negotiated via phone/chat/email. Failure to do so will cause tracking to fail and/or have cashback declined.

@trixieb: Thank you, I've already requested the refund. I'll sign up again with no firewall on a different email address later today.

          • @trixieb: Ah, it might be a no go for me. Cancelled my first attempt. Tried again today with a new email address, no firewall and still no tracking.

            I'll try again next time.

            • @Zaenille: Sorry to hear. I would give up too 😭

  • In the tips section OP states:
    * You can cancel auto-renewal after you have received cashback.

But does anyone know what happens if you:
    * buy a 2 year subscription
    * immediately cancel your auto-renewals?
Does that void the 130% cashback?

Thanks OP. CBA CC charged 170.36, tracked 210.39 after 23min. Profit 40 dollar 3 cents.

Wish they can scale it up and include the 5y MAX plan.

  • I'm using my same Paypal/linked card from last attempt, but getting:

Sorry, we weren't able to authorise your card. Link a different card

Odd that it worked last time, but not this time…

Same here, I tried different device, Wifi, mobile on 5G, different email address, different payment method. Nothing worked. I gave up. But it happend to me after I tried to use Revolut signle use card, which initially went throught then got declined.

I was actualy following @neoleo 's advise to use the gmail.trick above haha. Unfortunately it's still not working, but thanks for the help trixieb

        • @neoleo Any suggestions? Thanks.

          • @trixieb: Sounds like PureVPN were blocking the gmail + method, maybe they've blocked the . trick by now?

            • +1

@OutOfTime: One of my email addresses I tried is all letters. So I can't figure it out.

              • @bbking18: Thanks, any info like that is useful :)
Hopefully I figure this out before I run out of time

                • +1

@OutOfTime: Change your username and you would have enough time 😀

                  • +1

@trixieb: Of course, I should have thought of that obvious solution!
Trixieb you're full of help as usual ;)

                • +2

@OutOfTime: Both @trixieb and @neoleo have been very helpful. nI tried all their suggestions plus more before gave up last Friday. Tried one more time just now using my work email and got the same error message.

So I just had success: (Thanks for the help!)

            • I ended up using the Gmail '.' trick, so that wasn't the issue.

            • I successfully used the same card (Maquarie), without using Paypal, and it worked.
My error message was from PayPal, so that was cause of the issue… (not email or the bank itself)

            • +1

@OutOfTime: Thanks for the update. No need to change your username 😀 PayPal worked for a few. Perhaps a glitch with Macquarie card and PayPal.

              • +2

                @trixieb: & It just tracked now 😄 (22m later)

Thanks so much for the effort you put on these posts, I wouldn't have known about this or even tried, without you explaining the offer so well every time, & tks for always helping in the comments :)

                • +3

@OutOfTime: I recommend everyone not to rely on just 1 bank card for everything especially online purchases. I have several different cards from NAB, Up bank, St. George bank, ING, Bankwest, Wise, and Revolut. Most of them from ozb posts with bank bonus. I think Wise virtual card is one of the best for this kind of online purchase after reading previous comments above. So far no problem with Wise and Paypal for this purchase.

    Purchased @ 11:49 AM, tracked @ 12:07 PM
    $170.36 charged, $210.39 tracked.
    Net profit $40.03 🤩

    • +2

Better profit today with the exchange rate than Fri 😀

      • mine paid less due to insufficient fund (only kept $170 on card) then it auto-applied 20% discount, tracked properly though (same 20% off).
hope no drama for 1st time on this deal.

think it's probably why someone saw price $87.xx above.

        • @test8888 What is the auto applied 20% discount ?

        • No, they calculated manually. They saw the default US$109.95 when they scrolled down.

Great timing, just had accumulated $75 USD in bonus via my bybit card, so redeemed those and paid in USD - no conversion fees. (I do have to remember to cancel the subscription after the cashback is redeemable).

    $210.39 AUD tracked via TCB.

    • +2

Just make it a habit of cancelling it as soon as you payout in ~90d, or better, make a calendar entry in 90d 😗

      • I always use wise (except now because I had $75 USD to spend), and I cancel the virtual card right after the transaction.

  • These deals are tracking less each time… My first one was $224 in Jan, then $213 in April and now $209… Is it cause the exchange rate is absolute crap nowadays?

    • Technically if it's purely because of exchange rate, it means the AUD is getting stronger. Which gives us more "buying power" for Items in USD …
If you have most of your assets in AUD I think some would argue the exchange rate, for buying items in USD, (in most recent months) is getting better, not worse…
You can correct me if I'm wrong..

(In general exchange rate was getting worse over the years, but past months it's been recovering).

  • Not sure why but tracking is fine all other times on my usual browser Edge but for PureVPN - now a 2nd time it didn't track.
Won't TCB manually approve the cashback as every advice points to filling a refund?

    • If it doesn't track it's recommend to get refund within the 30days timeframe.
It's too much money to risk it, TCB is reliant on purevpn to attribute the sale to them.

      • +1

@Usemame Sorry to hear. I also had non-tracking in previous orders. Had to cancel, get a refund and sign up again with a new email address.

Unfortunately as johnmelb mentioned, no tracking attributed to TopCashback means PureVPN would not have paid TopCashback so they cannot pay you.

Please see my comment here regarding tracking tips and how to request for a refund if you're not familiar:

Bought at 7:32 PM - still hasn't tracked yet. Will give it the full 4 hours but a little worried given everyone else seems to track within 30 minutes.

Did anyone have tracking take a couple of hours?

  • Still getting the Error detected issue. I cant figure out how to get it to work. Tried app and website. Tried credit card and paypal. Not working. Any ideas?

Try changing your email to something that doesn't look like spam email, or email from different domain.

      • @eeeee Please refer to this comment with examples of email addresses that may work.

There was an issue with PayPal mentioned here.

@trixieb Thank you. Read through these comments before, but no success. Something is off. Will have to give it a miss this month.

  • My first impression of PureVPN is that it is a below average VPN, and am happy to be proven wrong now that I have 2.5 years to use it.

My first attempt to login to the VPN accepted my password, but shortly after when having to login again, I was receiving an invalid credentials message. A reset of the password took longer than 10 minutes for the reset email to arrive.

The first thing I did was to activate the built in Kill Switch, and found that even though it was on, it was not actually working with internet being fully functional through local IP, even though the VPN was not connected. This has since seemed to sort itself out, but I don't have confidence that this will not happen again.

The Dashboard looks quite basic, with a 3rd of the screen being taken up by a 'No Breaches Detected' + 'Reclaim Your Data' panels, that I suspect are unable to be removed to put something more useful in place. There is also an ad panel for their own products.

My quality of internet is not the best, and PureVPN is constantly coming up with 'Unstable Connection'. (this seems to be a PureVPN issue).

Under the dashboard is an 'uploaded' + 'downloaded' indicator. The figures (which are constantly in a state of update), don't seem to actually have any useful application. They are shown as MB (rather than Mbps).

I know I definitely would not be able to trust the 'new' Password Manager that appears in the dashboard.

I was looking for an inexpensive replacement for NordVPN (which I have found to be a fair, but not good VPN), but PureVPN is making me appreciate it more.

If there is a VPN or PureVPN discussion here, I am happy for these comments to be moved there.

  • gmail and hotmail account not working constant bank error for card payment

    • Please see these comments here for examples of the type of gmail names.
