  • What's considered new customer?

      Official Superloop response

A new Superloop customer is defined as someone that is no longer a Superloop customer and has no active service with them.

@nategasm That term is a copy from TA at TopCashback and it's not from Cashrewards. I had posted the Superloop offer when TA wrote the term. $105 max cashback for Superloop from TopCashback.

        • TA said that term came directly from Superloop so I assumed it would likely be the same here

  • Too good to be true? Any speed for $100 cashback?

  • I signed up for $82 plan yesterday, still waiting for it to be tracked.

Good value NBN provider, great speed and reliability…. until something goes wrong, as there's no real "technical" support.

    • Agree. It's annoying.
I have tried to speedboost (immediately, and also planned in advance). Denied. No reason why. Calling them = no idea. It's hit and miss. Why offer something that you can't action.

I had a pretty good experience with Superloop until a recent billing error which was way too hard to resolve. Seems like their support has been moved offshore and multiple users have experienced billing errors over the past year or so.

Overall I'd say they have great speed and reliability, just be aware that support and billing is pretty average.

Nothing for loyal existing customers, might have to call to get something or leave.

I tried this week, got nothing. Probably going to switch to another provider.

swap every 6 months if you can, unless you find 12 month deals either from DODO or Leaptel

Takes up to 95 days to be approved. So expect to need to stay connected got that long, hoping it gets approved at all.

  • Anybody knows which referral code or promo code to put in to save some more? Many thanks and much appreciated!

    • +1

For TCB referral codes do not stack with cashback and may even get your cashback rejected, same goes for manually entered promo codes. I imagine it is the same here

      • Thanks for letting me know!

  • What speed upgrade do I get if I get 1gbps?

    • Currently no boosts for 1gbps, it's only for the lower plans. Also Topcashback is giving $5 more for the 1gbps tier

      1000/50 boosts to 1000/100.

Old Speed Tiers New Speed Tiers nbn Technology Type
      100/20 500/50 FTTP and HFC
      250/25 750/50 FTTP and HFC
      1000/50 1000/100 FTTP and HFC
      2000/100 HFC
      2000/200 FTTP
      2000/500 FTTP
  • Nice reminder that my signup bonus is finished and I need to look for a new deal.

  • Lol, half the people already took on the $65 deal. Darn it

  • Problem is none of their terms 'clearly' states for how many days one needs to stay connected. Approved in up to 95 days isn't a clear term as on pizza hut or alike purchases, it states the same. And 'up to' also suggests, it could be approved before 95 days

Ah crud ported over to their $85 per month only a week ago 😑

How long do you have to stay to get cashback confirmed? What about previous deal?

  • Reckon Cashrewards will allow future connection date?

TopCashback for example clearly states it will be eligible:

Customers are able to nominate a later connection date and receive cashback provided you remain a customer for at least 90 days after placing your NBN order.

  • The thing that puts me off Superloop is apparently you need to give 30 days notice to leave them. If you don't you still get charged for the full 30 days. So presumably the best day to tell them you are porting away is the day after you are billed, and then wait 30 days before doing so. Can anyone confirm this is the best way to do it?

    • My experience from jumping between Exetel and Superloop is that they do pro-rata months. So you don't need to time it exactly to give your 30-day notice after the day after billing date. I usually just call them whenever, and say to end the service 30 days from now.

Also you're able to provide more than 30 days notice if you don't wanna risk their Accounts team messing up a pro-rata. E.g, if your billing date is on 15th each month, give em a ring before the 15th and say something like "cancel my service at the end of next cycle".

I don't find it too bad tbh, I just set my reminders 1 month earlier compared to other providers. E.g, remind myself to call to cancel 5 months after signup, instead of 6 months.

  • Mine didn't track.. Its been 10 days for me
