      Did some reading and found that the balance of the birthday party can be payed by gift card just not the initial $100 deposit (which you can paypal pay in 4).

          I enquired last year. Probably still the same now.

          The balance can be paid using gift cards at the venue on the day of the party. There is no limit on the number of gift cards that can be used.

          T&Cs state:

          You can check your card balance and transaction history by calling 1300 760 331. Please have
          your 19 digit card number and serial number ready.

          I haven't bought this gift card before so not sure. Hope the above works.

          From GCDB:

          For online purchases, enter your gift card’s 12 to 19 digit number and four digit PIN in the gift card field at checkout. For in-store purchases, either swipe your card or scan the barcode and enter the PIN when prompted.

          For online purchases you are limited to a maximum of three gift cards per transaction at all four brands. For in-store purchases you can use an unlimited number of gift cards at Rebel, BCF and Supercheap Auto but Macpac is apparently still limited to just three gift cards.

                @trixieb: I have no idea what could be causing that issue. On the surface, it sounds like there was an issue activating the gift card from the issuer's end.

      It doesn't ask for proof. It could be payment with an Australian card or PayPal.

    Short story, and information for others in case they also make this mistake,

    I chose a $100 hubbl card, selected paypal hoping to be able to select pay in 4. Ended up clicking through paypal popup without the option coming up.

    "Ok, it's not an option I guess, I'll buy 3 x $25 instead. I'll click off the page without selecting 'complete order', and select 3x$25 instead ".

    But my cc was charged the $100, and because my cc was close to limit, I couldn't get the 3x$25 cards. So I didn't have the $100 card, or an order number, but my cc was charged…

    Thankfully, the charge cleared within an hour…

    But for a while I was fearing having to ring up the help desk to get the gift card sorted and into my giftz account, or the amount refunded.

      It sounds like you kind of created a unique problem for yourself (or another way of putting it,

      "you got caught up in technical details and limitations"), which can happen at times (me included lol).

    I can't figure out how to do this online via Timezone website, Kingpin website, or Timezone app, so I'm assuming I can take this egift card into Timezone tomorrow and load it onto my powercard. If I reply to this comment then it will mean I was unable to do this and am annoyed.

          You cannot:

          Use Timezone, Kingpin, Zone Bowling or Gift of Fun gift cards online except for booking reservations at Kingpin or Zone Bowling

    Just tried to get a $100 giftcard, despite trying multiple times across 2 debit cards and GooglePay, all attempts to purchase had an error of "Transaction declined. Please contact your Bank or use another card.".
    No email confirmation.

    Decided to just forget it, and just buy from the store I wanted via debit card.

    Found out on my bank app that 2x$90 payments went through (seemed a bit delayed) – no gift card received and no emails.

    I want to refund both, their contact form is broken.

    Be warned.

      Update: called them, they said the orders were cancelled - the payments will be refunded in a few business days.
