  • I just bought a pair from Target for $23. I think it's currently 10% off there

i got a pair for 15 dollars at big w a few weeks ago

  • How comfy are these to walk in?

    • +1

strap 17 icypole sticks to the top and bottom of each foot and go for a walk and you'll know.

Payless shoes stock 'dunlop' volleys. I believe there is a difference

  • Rip, been around $13 on OB

    • example?

Or are you referring to multiple pairs deals?

Take your pick, I bought them months ago so I dont recall the exact deal

Edit: I was just trying to extend to the previous comments that is very near regular price and not much of a discount (if any)

        • So mostly multi-pair deals. Doesn't really make your case.

I got a pair of these for $10.00 from Target Tuggeranong a few weeks ago.

    Unfortunately not a bargain!

"I got a pair of these for $10.00 from Target Tuggeranong a few weeks ago."

But I bet they aren't $10 in Target today are they? If you are looking for shoes today, what good does a Boxing Day sale deal do you now? I got $30 Volley OCs from the Dunlop Volley Website on Boxing Day. It means sweet F.A. if you want to buy these shoes today.

It's one thing to make that comment but to neg was just dumb.

I guarantee if you go to Target or Kmart you can find them cheaper. $28 for a pair of volleys is not a bargain. Rather than having a little whinge about my neg, why not prove that I'm wrong? Oh wait! I'm not.

        E.g.

        http://www.volley.com.au/volley-international.html

        http://shop.target.com.au/search?prefix=product.&site_search…

There you go, just saved you $5.00 after 5 seconds of searching.

        • "Rather than having a little whinge about my neg, why not prove that I'm wrong? Oh wait! I'm not."

You've missed the point. Trying to compare the deal to a $10 Boxing Day sale that is not available now was pointless and misleading.

If you had gone with the comparison to the target link you posted now, that would have had relevance. But after all that, you've still compared a deal that includes delivery to one where you have to travel to the store to save the $5 (less costs of travel).

It was wrong to neg the deal on your original post. What you've added now still doesn't make the neg correct.

As mshannon posted above, Payless Shoes stock 'dunlop' volleys, and they are indeed different. I buy my volleys from Payless, and from trying on the ones there and the ones selling at Bigw/Target etc, the ones at Payless are:

    • Wider
    • The rubber is stiffer, probably thicker as well
    • Looks/feels to be higher quality

Payless have a 'buy one get second pair 1/2 price' thing going, I think full price is something like $30-35, so I get two pairs at a time for around $50.

I highly recommend you check out Payless before you buy.

    • Aha! I knew I wasn't the only one who thought that not all Volley's were created equal :)

Good to know I'm not going crazy

time for a new avatar perhaps?

    • I love Canada

  • I ordered a pair in their last sale and got sent the wrong size. Tried to contact them several times but never got a reply. I wouldn't purchase from these guys again, waste of money….

  • One pair $23.99 delivered from Ebay store brandnameshoes. You can get 2 pair for $38.95 or 3 pair for $48.95 I got the 3, arrived quick, all good.

  • I love my Volleys but jeez, talk about planned obsolescence- something always breaks or wears through within 12 months.
