Been on the hunt for a new 3dprinter for a few weeks and was just notified of the Creality K2 Plus on special for $1799 (WSJUL15 - $1529.15, EBAY PLUS - WSJUL17 - $1499) which seems like a bargain for anyone in the market for a large build plate printer!
Regular price on creality store: $2229 including 1x 500g filament roll
Excludes Northern Territory, Tasmania, WA Regional, WA Remote
Very good price! I have this printer and it has been phenomenal over the last few months. 95% of the time you just hit print and that's the end of it. Occasionally (maybe 5 times or so) I've had filament get stuck in the little extruder gears which requires a bit of disassembly. If this happens to you, I STRONGLY recommend cable tying the spring to the housing or even your finger temporarily - once that thing flies away (and it will) it disappears into the void forever.
Aside from that it's nice and fast, moderate noise levels and I really like the in built camera so you can check in on your prints remotely. And lastly as a more general comment on 3D printing - it's life changing. If you learn 3D modelling (even basics) then the ability to engineer and create custom solutions to problems you have is absolutely insane.
