Tell em the price son, tell them the price.
Why did this remind me of the Star Wars rap song 😂
We got Death Star
Rug pull
What was the price again?
Oops sorry guys 59$
Boom?
don't cheap out on a PSU and risk your entire PC
These PSUS are good budget units, have built a few pcs using them for my mates and none have had any issues.
Friends don't let friends use tier C power supplies.
Guess no friend told you that C tier is good. Read the ranking criteria
@ilikegengar: Yep, i remember running home to my parents to show off all those C grades i got in my report card at school
Yeah that is %100 true spend a bit extra get something much better, I got a core reactor 850w for $99 brand new
If the unit doesn't fail and doesn't have any weird quirks the average person who asks "can you make me a PC" is not going to notice, care or benefit from a more premium unit, especially when all it's powering is at most a xx60 budget rig.
They'd probably want $20 delivery. Centrecom has "Corsair CX650 650W 80+ Bronze ATX Power Supply" for $78, probably need to add something else to get free delivery.
I'm not sure how it works but I added an $80 SSD so $158 total and it's free delivery. I'm in a N2 Aus post region, Amazon often hides deals from me.
Oh my bad is actually over 69$ get free shipping and must order 2 items or more. https://www.umart.com.au/help/new-year-special-free-same-day-dispatch-on-orders-overs-69-terms-and-conditions-2500?utm_source=homepage&utm_medium=homepage&utm_campaign=Free%20Same-Day%20Dispatch%20on%20Orders%20Overs%20$69
Spend a few bucks more for a 750w, then practically every <$1k graphics card is available
I'd say don't buy cheap ass power supplies for $1k+ GPUs.
The one in the deal is more suitable for a PC with no graphics card.
That's not true at all mate, Its very practical for most budget builds almost all modern cards under 1k use less then 200w. I'm confused at all the fear mongering. Replying to agret. Fully agree too comment about buying power supply with more watts if getting higher end Gpu
There's more to a power supply than just wattage
@Bruceflix: Absolutely, yet this one is more than adequate in quality, connections and efficiency for a budget gaming rig which is the point. No point fear mongering for spending more money when you don't really have to.
I use this to power 2x 5090 with 300 watt limit applied to both cards for crypto mining..been going strong 12 months
I use this for an egpu power supply. No problems whatsoever.
Been using one of these in a home server for the past couple of years (on 24/7) and haven't had any issues. In hindsight, probably should have got one that's higher efficiency rated though. 😅
