Good-bye waistline hello cardiac arrest….lunch sorted πŸ‘Œ thanks oop

    • +3

2017kcal in one meal (assuming you choose Pepsi Max) is wild.

      • +4

        Daily calorie intake sorted!

      • +3

Sure, but just spread it over two days. Burgers and nuggets are both fine re-heated and the chips are 'tolerable' if you can dump them in an airfryer.

    • +8

On the plus side the more of this you eat the sooner you will die and the more you will save.

      • +1

        On the plus side,
might also be the clothes size afterwards.

For me that deal was $4.68.

      • Jacked prices in the app, like $14 box meal in store jack to $19 on app

      • last few pages of comments on this are cancelled orders though

      • How do you get these app offers?

      • Doordash messed up so we profited :)

Isn't fair to base all future kfc deals on that tho haha

        • I checked my doordash app but I can't see these offers. Is there something I need to do?

          • @bargin424: It was an error on doordash's side, it is fixed now (hence that deal is marked as expired)

  • +6

    $12?! Take my money!

  • +3

holy wow what a deal, KFC#1

  • +29

So we can now redeem this without needing to beat 3 levels of catching virtual kfc drumsticks.

  • +24

Brilliant work by KFC to include a Pepsi Max to counter the fat and carbs in the food.

I'm sure it's so they can print a lower KJ on their meals πŸ˜…

        Less bang for buck?

  • Love love, winter no gym but how to miss these deals πŸ™‡

    • +3

I'm the first to moan about small burgers (see my post history) but KFC has been decently consistent, and at the worst they might have smaller buns leading to chicken poking out but realistically if that's the only damage it's relatively nothing

    • +7

Show us a picture of your hands with 5 KFC burgers.

Got this deal from the game last Sunday. Nice one.

  • Great this, this is my go to for the colonel game

  • +2

    Date night, baby

  • +3

This is the same as what you win with that game nothing more

    • +3

If you look through the game deal, some people haven't been able to beat the last level despite the unlimited attempts.

This is a nice reward for them lol

      • Can we save this deal for use another day?

  • Any purchase limits?

    • +4

      Your wallet.

    • 1 million

    • +1

1 per account, like all other items. It is a promo item, so you cannot up quantity and can't do 2 orders of it.

  • That's a lot of chicken πŸ”

  • is this the only unique one ?

  • -2

Only reason people buy KFC is because it was good maybe once 10 years ago and it's been riding on that spirit ever since

    • Soggy chips, soggy nuggets

    • +3

Though I would agree, about 3 weeks ago, they up'd their game (at least all the ones in Adelaide have). Chrispy chips, always salted well, and the chicken has always been good so no complaints there

    • +3

I used to agree. KFC was terrible for many years - I had some shockingly bad food there and began to avoid it and talk it down. But about a year ago, when my train was delayed and I was hungry, I opted for KFC and it was actually good. Visited occasionally since, it's been consistent, and I've not been disappointed by what's been served up in these deals. May depend on your local one's management.

  • +5

$12 is a steal for this price

  • Thanks OP

  • +4

Holy shit a decent deal for once!

Too bad we STILL can't use the app :'(

  • +3

At this price i can afford a side of ozempic

  • Anyone else having trouble using the app on the payment screen? Hasn't worked for my whole family for the last two weeks.

    • Does it get to the option to choose payment, and then flicks back to the cart?

I used to have that issue then I found out that it's due to the add-ons that I'm selecting after adding an item. They seem to not be valid, even though it lets me add them to the cart.

Maybe try a very simple item and see if that gets you further through the checkout process.

      • Selecting at payment page gives an THAT AINT RIGHT error regardless of payment method. Even though I've just used it elsewhere

        • Might have to get in touch with their support then.

The only other thing I would suggest is to make a new account and try again with something like Google Wallet or PayPal.

  • cant see it on my app

  • How are we meant to find this???

    • +8

Your local KFC is a great starting point

  • i cant see it on my app any help?

    • The store needs to be open for it to appear.

  • Can we order this via app then pay instore at counter to get an extra drink with receipt survey?

    • -2

      Following

    • +1

They stopped doing this during Covid and haven't brought it back yet. I have been able to go to the counter after placing my order and showing them the survey code to redeem but YMMV.

    • +1

Throughout July I've been ordering on the app, then going to the counter to get my survey drink.

"Hi, I placed an online order under the code CodeXD and I've got a survey code for free drink"

Has never failed me at my trusty local kfc.

    • +1

I always order on the app and then claim free drink in drive thru

    • order this deal no issue at strathfield store. but the teen girl refuse to give out extra free drink with survey. need to order at counter not app. i did mention nothing this survey offer mentioned need to order at counter but still no luck.

      • I had similar issues on Friday. After ordering the previous days deal I did the survey and went to use it on the Friday deal. I was told it says to use on my next visit and I said if I ordered yesterday, today would be my next visit? I was asked if I had the receipt from yesterday and I wasn't going to hold the drive thru line up to find the receipt on my phone so I said don't worry about it.

Every other time though I've had not dramas claiming it at drive thru window

  • +3

The MSG is enticing me back to KFC but I always feel so shit after eating their food.

    • +8

At least with KFC you feel bad after you eat it, Maccas you feel bad when you get it- you can just see how shit it is, poorly made, cold, nuggets retained for twice as long as they're meant to.

      • +2

also half the cheese slice chucked outside the burger and stuck onto the side

      • +1

        every goddamn time with Maccas.

      • +1

And you don't even feel full after eating it.

  • Wow o' wow! With the Max(s) included the deal is frackin' great.

  • +2

    Pick Up Only

    • almost everyone getting this are individual males who will eat it all to themselves

Source? Also individuals buying this deal don't need to eat it all for 1 meal, they can have half for lunch and half for dinner.

      • The people I know who focus on these deals, they're all single men or men on the move during the day. All looking for $10 ish lunch deals.
Plus, who do you think bothers watching all the ol' blokes reviewing these deals on YouTube? Men, I speculate predominantly in those categories I mentioned. If not there'd be women reviewing it.
The only thing being saved for later within this meal is the second can of sugar for the afternoon.

        • +5

Bros really out here writing KFC fan fiction

        • +1

          Damn…. It's a meal built for incels… Oh jeez πŸ€”

        • Plus, who do you think bothers watching all the ol' blokes reviewing these deals on YouTube?

Who watches them? Um… is it you?

I didn't even know there were old blokes reviewing KFC deals on YouTube. I'd be more interested (which isn't saying much based on my current zero interest) to watch the reviews if it were younger women doing the reviews though.

    • +4

I always split it and leave half in the fridge. So, I get 2 meals at least out of it.

      • +2

yeah the airfryer will bring the leftovers back to life

Go to a 3rd world country and attempt to explain that logic to them.

      Yeah…

Here is a list of 10 third world countries (developing nations generally in Africa, Asia, and parts of Latin America) where Uber Eats operates:

Kenya (Africa) β€” Uber Eats launched here as part of its expansion in over 100 cities across Africa.

Egypt (Africa) β€” Uber Eats is available and expanding in Egypt.

Sri Lanka (Asia) β€” Uber has a presence in Sri Lanka with Uber Eats operating.

Romania (Europe) β€” Uber Eats launched here during expansion into Eastern Europe.

Ukraine (Europe) β€” Uber Eats has expanded into Ukraine as well.

South Africa (Africa) β€” Uber Eats launched services, including Johannesburg.

Turkey (Asia/Europe) β€” Uber Eats entered the market through acquiring a local company.

Philippines (Asia) β€” Uber Eats expands in various Asian countries, including the Philippines (based on Uber’s broad Asian expansion).

Colombia was previously served but Uber Eats pulled out by end of 2020, so not currently active now (excluded).

Indonesia (Asia) β€” Uber Eats operates in various emerging markets in Asia, including Indonesia.

From the searched data, confirmed Uber Eats expansion targets and available markets in developing or third world countries include Kenya, Egypt, Sri Lanka, Romania, Ukraine, South Africa, Turkey, and several Asian developing countries. Indonesia and the Philippines are commonly cited markets for Uber Eats in Asia.

      • Well the source of your information is outdated, as i can confirm uber eats & uber is no longer available in the Philippines.

        • Grab? Hungry Panda?
My point still stands even without Phils in the list.
