Thanks OP. Got the bedside table to put in the garage for my NVR setup.

    • is that your bed room too?

    • It's a good idea to hide an NVR in a secure spot, rather than leaving it on an accessible shelf.

It will be in a secure location. This table just tidies up the cables ect once I put holes through the back

        • How do you managed to hide the noise from the NVR fan?

    OOS

    • The two closest stores to me are amber low in stock and green in stock.

    • Used to be OOS in NSW 2170 last week and now somehow it is available to C&C again.

      Perhaps check later?

It is MDF in the description. Good thing, you started a good skill.

Good look finding affordable furniture made from real timber!

I believe it's not real wood

It says it's MDF and no real wood would be this cheap.

Make sure all your furniture is real wood by getting it checked by a professional

I can't picture many bringing a wood anatomist or wood technologist into Kmart to get them to inspect a cheap shelf.

Yes. Solid timber bookcases cost lots more than this.

For $39, though, it's great value. It won't be the showpiece in a $3m home, but it should give years of everyday service in a dry room.

I built this for my mum a while ago. It's got a pretty fiddly construction, but it looks nice in the end. Check the manual:

5kg per shelf. I'd call it a decorative piece at that weight rating but that would assume it looks even remotely pleasing to the eye.

Came here to say the same, 5kg per shelf for books?

      • Two hardbacks per shelf and you're done. What's the point.

      • Sounds adequate to me.
How many Kindles do you need to store on it?

    • Looks like per level to me base on the structure shown in manual.

  • Order went through still but no confirmation email yet. I guess it will be refunded?

  • Order placed at 12:30, no conformation email yet

  • For those still looking, Hoppers Crossing still has a few, saw at least 5, of these available on floor.
