    nah, I only just spotted that on my phone as I was checking out the ozbargain RSS. I was all "yeah, i'm gonna go buy a couple things" but then saw it had expired :-)

      Everyone lets it go when it's a good deal, but this is the third time in 1 week.

    You can generally tell based on the price. Under $20 it's probably going to be a 3rd party cable.

      The message was not targetted, similar products are surging up OzBargain, so maybe there are sellers who are throwing the geniune stuff away as a marketing exercise below cost at limited quantity, and there are generic alternatives who simply want to sell them.
