PureVPN: 130% Cashback for New PureVPN Customers @ TopCashback AU

730

Profit offer is back. Only one PureVPN purchase is permitted per member every 28 days (4 weeks). Unfortunately not for those who purchased in the last offer in July.

My Tips:

  • Choose Max 2-year plan (+ 6 months) US$109.95 for the best value. Do NOT grab the 5-year plan offer in the pop-up. 5-year plan and add-ons are ineligible for cashback.
  • Pay with a card without international transaction fees if possible.
  • If you use PayPal AU, PayPal AU may charge a currency conversion fee. It seems not possible to change currency to USD to bill the card in USD instead of AUD.
  • Tracking may take up to 4 hours.
  • If your order doesn't track or you're not happy with PureVPN, please cancel and request for a refund from PureVPN within 31 days under their 31-day money-back guarantee.
  • If you cancel for non-tracking, you can buy again. Use a new email address for PureVPN with the same TopCashback account. Same payment card is fine.
  • You can cancel auto-renewal/subscription after you have received cashback.

TA's Tips:

  • A new email address for PureVPN is considered a new customer.
  • Prior to using TopCashback, disable/remove all 3rd party plugins (AdBlock, uBlock, Pi-hole, Honey, etc), VPNs, and avoid browsers such as Brave. Ensure you accept cookies on PureVPN's landing page if requested, which holds true for any retailer.
  • For iOS device: Apart from ensuring you’re not using an AdBlock app for Safari, the most important one is to ensure you have ‘Prevent Cross-Site Tracking’ turned off (see here).
  • Also important to remember that should tracking fail for whatever reason, please cancel using their free 31-day money-back guarantee policy. No point lodging a claim to possibly have it rejected by PureVPN as attributed elsewhere.

What will stop me getting my cashback

  • Cashback is eligible only on 1-year, 2-year, and monthly plans (Standard, Plus, Max). Cashback is ineligible on 5-year plan, Teams multi-user plans, and/or add-ons.
  • Only one (1) PureVPN purchase is permitted per member every 28 days (4 weeks). Check your TopCashback account to confirm last purchase date.
  • PureVPN is excluded from all signup and referral bonus thresholds. Reference the Tell-a-Friend terms for more information.
  • Cashback can only be earned by customers opening a new PureVPN account. Renewals are ineligible for cashback.
  • Cashback is ineligible on payments made with Crypto currency.
  • Cashback is ineligible on use of any codes not approved and posted by TopCashback.
  • Cashback is ineligible on use of gift cards for payment and/or purchase of gift cards.
  • Cashback is ineligible on purchases made via the retailer's mobile app.

What else is essential

  • Cashback is calculated and paid on the advertised cost of the plan only. It will exclude upsold products, GST, other taxes, credit card or PayPal surcharges.
  • Engaging with plugins such as Honey, AdBlock, uBlock, Pi-hole, VPNs, and browsers such as Brave may prevent your order from tracking.
  • You must always return to TopCashback and click the pink cashback button through to the retailer's website for each new transaction. Ensure the TopCashback link is the last one used to visit the retailer's website prior to completing your purchase.
  • Any accounts that engage in fraudulent orders/activities to game/cheat the cashback system will be banned and cashback forfeited.

Time to finally start thinking about getting a VPN with the new wave of censorship/tyranny not too far away :(

  • Thanks OP!
TA must know I wasn’t able to participate due to being overseas last deal 2 weeks ago and topped up another deal this month for me 😝🤣 feeling blessed ! 😇🙏

  • yayh

  • +2

Ive been using it for the last few months.
    Good speed and no issues

  • Has anyone used the "unlimited esim data" that comes with the Max plan? I can't find much info on it…

    • +5

It's only 2 free days unlimited and you need to buy at least 1 day full price. That's 3 days for $6-7

      • Ah cheers, not worth much then. Thanks.

  • +1

I recently took part in the PureVPN event on July 11. May I know if it's still possible to join this event again? just a different email for purevpn account?

    • +1

Unfortunately not as per the first paragraph of post description:

Profit offer is back. Only one PureVPN purchase is permitted per member every 28 days (4 weeks). Unfortunately not for those who purchased in the last offer in July.

      • +1

        thanks op

      • Dang it not for the July purchasers. got $600 invested on this currently.

  • +1

Paid $88.98 AU for 2 year standard, tracked at $110.33 so ~124% cash back.

    Estimated Payable 16 Weeks

    • Higher profit with Max 2-year plan eg here.

      • +1

yep, and higher risk, which I didn't want to take, maybe next time

        • -1

why would it be higher risk?

          • +2

@pepsicles: most likely due to cancelled or unconfirmed cashback and already past 30 days refund policy.

  • +5

Paid $168.87 (VISA), cashback $209.33. Tracked after 30 minutes. $40.46 profit.

    29 Jul 2025 $161.02
    $209.33 pending

    • Exact same figures here

    • How do I get $172.22 on HSBC then?

      • International transaction fee?

Pay with a card without international transaction fees if possible.

        I did the above.

        • Nah hsbc doesn’t have fees. Plus if there is, it’d be a seperate entry. Funny they didn’t send me an invoice, just a welcome email. Will have to log in to double check.

          • +1

@Alley Cat: HSBC doesn't have international transaction fees but seems to use a different rate, mentioned here. Often not as good as other banks.

            • +1

@trixieb: Thanks, had no idea. Does look like the international transaction fees are included in the spread lol

  • Op, Does the referral stack with this offer? Also, if I use a new email but the same payment card, would it still qualify for the cashback?

    • Referral 1 month free? I wouldn't touch it, when you are getting 30 months for profit.

      • @ShadowSaver Your answers are in the post description.

Does the referral stack with this offer?

        No. In the post description:

        • PureVPN is excluded from all signup and referral bonus thresholds.
        • Cashback is ineligible on use of any codes not approved and posted by TopCashback.

Also, if I use a new email but the same payment card, would it still qualify for the cashback?

        Yes. In the post description:

        • Use a new email address for PureVPN with the same TopCashback account. Same payment card is fine.
        • I thought that was in reference to TopCashback referral bonus threshold spend. Whereas ShadowSaver, I believe is asking about the Purevpn referral.

  • Paid $168.82 (Mastercard), cashback $209.33.

  • is the tracking instant or taking time?

    • +1

It usually tracks within an hour and allow up to 4 hours.

    • Mine tracked within 30 minutes

      • got mine

  • Pay with a card without international transaction fees if possible.

Does Revolut charge this fee? Or what other options are available?

    • +2

Bankwest Easy Transaction is the go-to for no international fees debit card

Alternatively there's an entire wiki on it https://www.ozbargain.com.au/wiki/cards_with_no_overseas_tra…

You can setup virtual cards, but I'm unsure if the main card needs to be activated first. These can be either single or multi use, optionally with spend limits. I always use single-use cards for stuff like this incase I forget to cancel.

According to wiki Revolut has no fee too

Wise also works, but note they now charge a fee to withdraw cash (it's quite low, like $1 but still notable). No fee for international transactions or to deposit. Good rates for transferring between currencies if required (but card rate usually better; ie pay in international currency coming from an AUD account)

    • +2

@emperor Please note that Revolut has a weekend fee which starts on Sat 7am AEST.

Macquarie and UBank debit cards are other options and they have no international transaction fees.

    • Revolut converted $169 AUD to $109.95 USD, no fees

      • +1

        Except on the weekends.

        • Yeah that was today

          • @Paul B: I don't know why they charge weekend fees though. Not aware of any other similar companies doing this.

        • +1

Does this apply to card transactions or is it just for transfer/exchanges? It's worded as if that's for exchanges on the app, not for international transactions on the card coming from AUD

The 'Revolut Kids' section specifically states a fee for international card transactions though, but I can't see anything for standard accounts. It specifies you'll see the fee beforehand etc.

Usually the transaction comes from AUD balance and Mastercard/Visa do the currency exchange

          • @Dyl: There were comments from people who used a Revolut card that they were charged extra on the weekends. Some of the PureVPN deals were offered only on the weekends.

            • @trixieb: Their site is confusing on that, that’s annoying.

I use BankWest single use temporary cards personally in case I forget to cancel subscription, it’s one of the best solutions

  • Who gets my data

    • +1

      easier to say who doesn't
Bonus is the data is linked to your name via payment details.

  • My cashback from last May is still showing up as 'confirmed'.

It says I cant withdraw it until it becomes 'payable'

  • Is it possible to buy this and never even use it, and still get the cashback?

    • Sure

    • Yes. I've never used or downloaded and buy for the profit. Have done this several times in less than a year.

  • assume referring the wife and having her get this one (i'm ineligible) is fine?

    • In the post description and terms:

PureVPN is excluded from all signup and referral bonus thresholds.

Your wife can buy the PureVPN for profit but cashback is not paid for the referral bonuses.

      • i think that's fine, she would probably shop enough to meet the threshold anyway. more interested in the profit from this deal given i'm ineligible as participated in last deal

  • Can I get this from overseas (on a holiday) using an Australian card?

    • +1

People often set their country to alternatives as is to avoid the GST (which cashback isn't paid on), so yes. Just ensure not to set to a EU country with 20% VAT. From memory Christmas Island was the go-to previously, it had no GST for some reason.

Note it's always an international transaction, even if quoted in AUD - so fee free card is best.

      • +1

@DealHunted Buying PureVPN from Australia doesn't give me the option to change countries (unlike NordVPN). PureVPN charges in USD.

You can try and it may work as other people have bought PureVPN from other non-AU TopCashback sites.

Please don't use a VPN as it would block tracking for cashback.

        • Oh it’s NordVPN I’m thinking of possibly.

I use TopCashback UK and US often, no terms say you need to be in the specific country. IE TCB US is the best rate for Accor, and Accor tracks in USD so you can use your own currency exchange to receive even more.

Not had any issues at all; nothing on topcashbacks side would stop you accessing this deal.

  • my nordvpn is near expired, will this be a good replacement ? thanks

    • NordVPN seems to be a better VPN. I would still recommend you buy PureVPN to try. Some of us are buying PureVPN for the profits.

    • NordVPN faster (maxes gigabit connections often), purevpn sometimes lower latency but slower (100-500Mbps kinda range, never seen it max out a gigabit connection)

It’s fine as an alternative, though it sometimes becomes the bottleneck rather than your internet speed with NordVPN.

  • Does PureVPN work well for a Netflix account in Turkey and India? thanks

    • +1

Yes. I use it together with a configuration on my router so my smart tv goes through PureVPN via OpenVPN which works well.

  • FWIW I have found it a bit difficult cancelling under the 31-day guarantee. I have previously emailed support with no response and when I chatted to them via the website they cancelled but didn't say if they would refund.

On another note, I don't understand how this stacks up economically for them! Surely they know what people are doing?

    • I'd like to know too. A discount cashback can still make profit, but >100% cashback I don't get.

      My stab:
      * Encourage people to sign up to big plans, knowing at least some will forget to cancel. 130% cashback means they can make a profit if at least 1 in 3 people forget to cancel.
      * They bet people will mess up the cashback tracking and not cancel their plans.
      * They can do creative accounting and write off the loss.
      * They benefit from having users in their system.
      * They sell user data

@drillvoice PureVPN seems to have improved recently with very prompt refund requests mentioned in July and June. It took a few emails for them to cancel/refund my untracked order a few months ago.

They probably make money from auto-renewals and people who don't use cashbacks.

How to ask for a refund from PureVPN for an untracked order:

      • Log into your account, under "Subscriptions", Choose "File a refund". Can state you need the money as the reason.

      • PureVPN has recently processed refunds quickly with a single request for refund.

      • In the past, PureVPN may not cancel and refund straightaway. There may be several emails from different staff to persuade you to stay with offers. Simply repeat your request to cancel and refund as you need the money (under their 31-day money-back guarantee). You will get the refund after a few emails.

You can reorder with a new email address for PureVPN, same TopCashback account and same payment card.

  • I should try it with 10 different emails, and I will earn ~$400 :D

    • Sorry to disappoint but TopCashback may ban and close all your accounts 😭

      • Oh! I thought it is possible to buy multiple ones with the same TopCashback account. Similar to what we do with Boost Mobile.
That's fine then. Will do next one in 28 if available

      • He can do it with 10x different TCB account on 10x different emails on VPN, but not 1 TCB account with 10x VPN sign ups.

        • +1

VPN will block cashback tracking. If you don't use VPN, TopCashback seems to be able to detect it's the same person/household with multiple accounts.

          • +1

@trixieb: its good that they have this detection, otherwise everything it just gets abused and promote unfair practices.

    • +1

TCB policy says 1 per 28 days, not allowed.

      Multiple TCB accounts not allowed.

AFAIK you can take advantage of purevpn offers on TCB US, UK, and AU though, with each being a seperate 28 days between

      Edit: https://www.topcashback.co.uk/purevpn/ 110.5% cashback currently

      • TopCashback UK is at 130% cashback now. Cashback would probably have to be at least 130% rate to be worth doing after currency conversion fees etc.

  • Where do we go to cancel auto renewal? I got paid already from the April deal.

    • +1
      • Login to your account.
      • Choose "Subscriptions" on the left hand side.
      • At the bottom of page, click "Cancel Subscription".
      • Choose a reason. I chose "I no longer need the service".
      • Continue to choose "Cancel Subscription".

It will cancel subscription/auto-renewal but you will still be able to use the VPN until it expires.

      • +1

        Thanks for that!

  • I tested them on https://dnsleaktest.com/ and I could see my own public IP. Don’t think they are any good. Happy to know the thoughts from others

    • We only buy this for cashback, we don't have to use it. Cancel subscription after receiving the cashback ;-)

  • Hi everyone, I’m a new user here. I was wondering if this offer has a due date, I couldn’t find one. Also, is the cashback paid after 16 weeks, and can it be transferred to a bank account once it’s available?
Any reason to use paypal instead of australian bank card?

Sorry about the questions. Thanks for sharing the offer.
