FR, but was looking at the 620, maybe I had both open in tabs on my phone. still not my bag, I like less 2-4k than Harman but should be easily tamed with EQ.
obviously it's personal preference but at this price the hd560s are IMO unbeatable. Very comfortable, easy to drive, great sound, and even better with a small amount of eq
@DeToxin: I have the 58x which are solid, would like something from the 600 series but have too many cans already…
Not sure if a deal at this price, but these are very, very good (and well regarded) headphones if you need a flat frequency response. There is a slight lack of bass however. Not super crucial if you're mostly after definition and doing music production/mixing, but it's there (easily compensated for).
FWIW, I own/test many budget-mid tier headphones as part of my job. These are easily my favourites in this class for music production.
IMO the bass on these is slightly boosted out of the box, and definitely not lacking. What are you comparing them to?
edit: I take that back, maybe I'm misremembering what eq I set, but just checked the oratory eq which is what I based mine off and and their suggestion is +4.6db and +1.7db for 31.5hz and 63hz respectively.
