40.8kg/per kg for protein blend after 40% discount.

    • $46.6 if you add up the shipping ($10)

    • But it's actually got a very high quality score for a WPI/WPC blend. DIAAS of 1.4 is better than most WPIs. It may not be the absolute cheapest, but makes up for it with a great amino acid profile.

      • I am genuinely curious how/where you get the DIAAS numbers of these products. Is there a website that can easily do the calculation after you inject the amino acid profile?

  • Did you have your protein lab tested for protein content

    • Hi Pyramid,

Thanks for your question. Yes, we have our protein lab tested for protein percentage and protein dry basis percentage. We test our blends regularly to ensure it matches our claims as accurately as possible.

Feel free to ask any other questions.

        Can you share latest report..

  • where's the ingredients list?

    • Hi Megametro,

You can find the ingredients listed under the "DIRECTIONS FOR USE" on the back of every pack. If you're looking online, you can find the ingredients list by clicking on any of the images of the back of the product (please ensure you've selected the right flavour).

Feel free to ask any other questions.

      • The ingredients are not shown for Chocolate flavour.
        https://gymcrate.com.au/products/1-5kg-lean-whey-protein?var…

        • I assume that the 1kg bags have the same ingredients and metrics?
          https://gymcrate.com.au/cdn/shop/files/CHOCOLATE_BACK.png

        • Hi mhc,

Thanks for reaching out! The ingredients for our Chocolate flavour are indeed listed on the back of the product packaging, and the image you’ve referenced should display them clearly. Occasionally, browser or caching issues can prevent images from loading fully—we’d recommend refreshing the page or checking on another device if the details aren’t appearing as expected.

For quick reference, the 1kg and 1.5kg variants share the same ingredient profile, so you can rely on the details shown in the 1kg image.

    • Yes. But it's very close.
INC cheaper, but GymCrate has a higher quality score (DIAAS). 1.4 to 1.05.
So they come out very close, but INC is a nose in front.
Then there's other factors to consider like flavour selection. Plus Gymcrate is a lot cleaner (fewer additives).

  • @GymCrate Australia where do you source your whey from? Is is Australia, NZ or US?

    • Hi mhc,

Our protein is sourced within Australia, and wherever possible, we prioritise Australian ingredients. Over 90% of our formula is locally sourced.

  • What is the "Natural Cacao Flavours"? Seems like a decent product… I like Stevia in protein @GymCrate Australia

    • Hi Krackour,

Thanks for your question and kind words!

When we say “Natural Cacao Flavours,” we’re referring to flavours made from real ingredients like natural Dutch cacao and natural chocolate flavours. These are selected for their high quality and clean taste.

We’ve purposely kept our ingredients list minimal — so you get a great-tasting protein without unnecessary fillers or artificial additives.

Let us know if there’s anything else we can help with.
