I ordered this and it still hasn't been delivered. ETA end of August.
Amazon shows delivery on Monday for me
Mine from Dell arrived 4 days after I ordered.
Similar here - mine was shipped the same day I placed the order and arrived 2 days later.
Friend's one shipped next day (he ordered after 5pm) and arrived 2 days later as well.
@daemon: Hmm, I better call up then. Maybe they ran out of stock after the first batch
Edit—
Called and my monitor is now "in production". Still need to wait for it…..
Yeah mine came a few days also after ordering from Dell direct.
hodl'ing hard
Should add curved to the title if you can
No more space in the title! I've added it to the body instead - thanks for the suggestion.
wonder if i can sell my old aw3423dwf for say $500?
Is it even worth the upgrade to this newer model? I have the 2023 model too and have no complaints.
probably not but would be nice to have 240 fps
Manager mate @ JB did this monitor for $1099 about 2mth ago and my wife managed to claim $500 WFH rebate through her work. Once I calibrated it she was very impressed with the high refresh rate, brightness and deep blacks for all that… excel and outlook…
plus burn in?
Here is an example of the burn in from someone using the previous model AW3423DW after three years: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x0kh3_8OTmQ&t=127s "you could basically class this minor amount of burn-in as no burn-in at all as it has no real impact on day-to-day usage".
Bro that screens dead in a year.
Excel on an OLED is gonna burn it in super duper fast
I had a MSI OLED get burned in doing spreads in like 4 months
I hope to god Ur being sarcastic
Is there a good 4k oled solution for both work & games yet? I use a single 32" IPS 4k monitor for both and I'm just waiting for one where the text will look as good as it does now…
same
There's some 32in 4k QD-OLEDs from Gigabyte (Aorus FO32U2P 240Hz flat, MO32U 165Hz flat), Asus (ROG Swift PG32UCDM 240Hz flat) and Dell (Alienware AW3225QF 120Hz curved).
And LG have a 32in WOLED that will do 240Hz at 4k, or 480Hz at 1920x1080 (Ultragear 32GS95UE-B flat).
Since we are talking text specifically, I'd note that WOLED tends to be better for text clarity.
What sort of calibration are we talkin. I did a pass over mine with a spyderx /displaycal (so sdr mode) and honestly didn't do too much. Seems to be very well calibrated from factory when all the right profiles are added
How is this with a Mac? Does text look sharp?
