  • Great price!

  • Damn, just when I go out of budget for month. Hope we can stack some codes to make it under $899

Time to get another credit card.

  • I don't even have a gaming PC yet.

    • +7

Buy this first then PC later.

Fyi, Brand new with 240hz is around $1,000 on their student discount or code (slightly higher).

  • +7

honestly, better to wait for newer model aw3425dw to be on sale and pay bit more for that instead. Its been as low as $999 in previous deal.

  • This one is not 4K right?

    • +11

3440x1440. So for those reasons, I’m out.

      • Thanks, Shark.

      • It's a great resolution and size for gaming at high refresh rates. That said I'm waiting for the newer aw3425dwf to come down to this price.

      • I don't have a graphics card powerful enough to drive a 4K OLED monitor for gaming.

Given the number of votes for this comment, a lot of you must have very powerful gaming PCs!

        • +2

..or people use a monitor for more than just solely gaming.

        • You can play at 1080p…

Is $100 discount really worth it for a refurb vs new?

    • +4

      not really —> exit

        why did you upvote then

        • +1

I appreciate OP effort to find and post for the community :)

Can't measure ATL with a refurb vs new.
    Stick with new for these.

    • +1

I got a refurb 32” and it looked like it was brand new, just some marks on the box. Zero pixel issues too.

      • That's reassuring.
You have to kind of worry with refurbs and how long they have kept the panels on as Oled degrade.. and if they haven't swapped it in the refurb process. The life expectancy is already reduced. (Noting these were released in 2023, so it could be as old as 2 years)

        • Why worry? You have a 3 year warranty on it

          • +2

@serpserpserp: Not everyone understands buying a Dell. If you know you know.

      • I was excited when I saw this because I thought there might be a refresh of the 32".

There is but it's $1,349!!! It's been cheaper brand new before.

  • hoping for higher resolution

    I can wait

  • Great price, been using mine for 4-5 years now, no burn ins yet. Solid monitor paired with 4090.

Not to mention, dell customer service is top notch.

  • This is only 165hz. If you have student or corporate access to dell you can get the aw3423DW for around $1020 - or $1060 if you don’t - which is 240hz.

why buy a refub 3 yr old monitor when u can get 2025 model for $200 more ? not a deal..

      To save $200?

Seriously, not everyone cares about the added refresh rate and this still comes with the same warranty a new one would.

This is such an invalid negative vote it's not even funny.

It's like saying "why but a 4070ti Super when you can just buy a 5070ti", if the price is cheaper but offers 90% the same real world experience there is definitely still a market for these.

      • +5

The brand new monitor is a gen 2 panel which offers more burn in resistance and longer lifespan.

240hz + brand new + gen 2 panel with better burn in resistance and longer lifespan for $166 more = valid down vote.

        • For people that have a budget of $900 for a monitor, this one is fine and will blow any non OLED out of the water.

          • @Vinodra: Just save up the $200 and buy it later. $200 is not a lot in 2025.

      • if you are wanting to save $200 to buy a 3 yr old model that is also a refub. You are doing it wrong… its not just refresh, it has better burn in protection, current gen tech so it wont devalue as fast.

  • It might be an ATL on Ozbargain (?) but I actually bought mine for $599.01 on 3 July 2025.

It's hard to post these refurb deals on Ozbargain because of the limited quantities.

Also, it's interesting reading some of the comments above that are disparaging of the post just because it's a refurb… However, on the other hand, I'm happy that the Outlet will stay a secret if I ever need to buy another monitor!

  • Happy with my UW OLED Dell Refurb.
I have bought many Dell /Alienware returns over the years including for work and always have good support including a replaced monitor and replaced lappy mobo.

text is horrible on an OLED with this PPI

    • -1

      no its not lol

      • +1

yes colour fringing and shifting, oled handle pixels differently to IPS displays
