Good cashback offer. Best value seems to be the 100/20 plan ($62.99) which will be upgraded to 500/50 for FTTP & HFC addresses.

From 1 Oct 2025, Dodo 100/20 & 250/25 plans on HFC & FTTP will upgrade automatically to faster speeds.

Dodo nbn Plan Cashback Price/Month for First 6 Months
Home Superfast (250/25) $100 $74.99 (HFC & FTTP Upgrade to 750/50 from 1 Oct)
nbn100 (100/20) $100 $62.99 (HFC & FTTP Upgrade to 500/50 from 1 Oct)
nbn50 (50/20) $100 $60.99
nbn25 (25/5) $100 $46.99

To ensure tracking, use the TopCashback app, click the "Get up to $100 Cashback" pink button to the Dodo website, use mobile data (not Wi-Fi) and Chrome browser.

TA's Tracking Tips:

  • Prior to using TopCashback, disable/remove all 3rd party plugins (AdBlock, uBlock, Pi-hole, Honey, etc), VPNs, avoid browsers such as Brave and close any additional browser tabs.
  • For iOS device: Apart from ensuring you’re not using an AdBlock app for Safari, the most important one is to ensure you have ‘Prevent Cross-Site Tracking’ turned off (see here).

What will stop me getting my cashback

  • Cashback is eligible only on nbn & mobile services (excludes eSIMs). Cashback is ineligible on Bundle deals and on all other products & services.
  • For nbn purchases, cashback is eligible for new or returning Dodo customers. A new or returning Dodo customer is defined as someone that is no longer a Dodo customer and currently has no active service with them. You must remain a Dodo customer for at least 90 days after placing your nbn order to be eligible for cashback.
  • Cashback is ineligible on use of any codes not approved and posted by TopCashback.
  • Orders must be completed wholly online, and not negotiated via phone/chat etc.
  • Cashback is ineligible on use of gift cards for payment and/or purchase of gift cards.
  • Cashback is ineligible on purchases made via the retailer's mobile app.

What else is essential

  • Engaging with plugins such as Honey, AdBlock, uBlock, Pi-hole, VPNs, and browsers such as Brave may prevent your order from tracking.
  • You must accept and allow all 3rd party cookies on the retailer's page if requested.
  • You must always return to TopCashback and click the 'get cashback' button through to the retailer's website for each new transaction. Ensure the TopCashback link is the last one used to visit the retailer's website prior to completing your purchase.
  • To be eligible for cashback, all transactions must be completed solely & wholly online and must not be assisted/negotiated via phone/chat/email. Failure to do so will cause tracking to fail and/or have cashback declined.

  • Is Dodo Internet any good?

    • idk, but dodos payment system for gas is archaic

      • Don't know but Dodo is the annual winner of the Best Premium NBN Provider in the WhistleOut Awards 2024.

        • +6

Take that award with a grain of salt. Dodo has never been a premium ISP.

            • +1

@trixieb: Dodo is fine however they are not premium.

          • @Twix: How do ISPs be "premium" in the first place? Lol

            • +1

              @smartProverble:

Tier 1 NBN providers are those that own and operate their own core network infrastructure, often referred to as the "backbone". This means they have their own physical network equipment and high-speed connections to the global internet, rather than reselling services from other providers.

              • +2

@Twix: Dodo is owned by Vocus who are one of the largest network infrastructure owners in Australia, particularly after purchasing TPG fibre assets.

I would still agree with the above that they're an average ISP although there's no contract so you're free to move on if you don't like the product.

    • Dodo is ok for 6 months. Don't stay any longer.

    • I was on Dodo for quite a few months. They’re on Vocus so practically the same as (or very similar to) Tangerine, MORE, Mate, Moose Mobile, etc., i.e. you get what you paid for.

And I’m on Tangerine now, kind of interested in churn back to Dodo🤣 nothing to lose, potentially a few bucks cheaper PM

      • I just switched tangerine to dodo again lol…

tnageirne card fees r annoying !

    • In my experience with them internet speed and stability was okay (better than Exetel), customer service was awful.

    • Was with Dodo for a while, as far as (non-premium ISP's go), as long as you have no technical issues in the setup, you should be good.

    • Not bad but last time I was with dodo nbn a couple
Year back I signed up to a deal and like 3 months in they jacked up their prices which was poor. Other than that they were ok

  • Do they have CGNAT opt out?

    • +2

If you believe CG NAT is affecting any of the below applications or devices you use on your internet service, you can discuss your options with our Customer Service team here.

      • Security cameras and systems
      • Remote access to computers or devices
      • Locally hosted servers; E.g. Web servers or file servers

They will be able to opt you out of the CG NAT by providing a unique public IP address which will change over time (Dynamic IP Address).

Alternatively, purchasing a static IP address will opt you out of CG NAT by default and we will provide you a fixed public address assigned to your service.

A static IP address costs $5 per month.

  • $92.99 vs $80 ongoing with exetel… hmmm Does anyone thing their pricing will change after the new NBN speeds king in next month?

    • Dodo is advertising $30 per month off for 6 months i.e. $62.99 per month (reduced from $92.99) for 100/20 plan. I would expect to pay $62.99 next month. Hopefully no increase.

If it's relevant, there is no CGNAT opt-out with Exetel (also $100 cashback). Dodo appears to have this option.

      • +2

Yeah Dodo stays at $62.99/m for 6 months.

        • Provided they don’t increase their prices which is what they did last time I was with them. Its no lock in contract so they are open to prices increases

          • @Gavman: Dodo website says no extra charge and some prices went up July 1st.

            • @Twix: They also say price increases are at their discretion at anytime. Since no lock in contract it’s fair game. Not saying they’ll will increase prices but they did last time I was with them so don’t be surprised especially after Oct 1st when speed get an increase they may capitalise on that …. They do this by saying they provide 30$ off first 6 months as opposed to saying the cost is X for 6 months then goes to Y after that. That allows them to increase the base cost within the promotional period and still honor the “$30 off”.

    • yes, you're better of waiting as they're trying to score customers at current rates.

  • Had a stop off at Dodo on my NBN Churn-a-go-round last year and was surprised to see my ping drop slightly in games like Rocket League (60ish down to 55ish) Had no issues with the service on FTTN as well.

  • +3

Thanks OP. I've signed up and will churn from BuddyTelco's 1 month free promotional to Dodo next month.

The 100/20 plan works out to be $88.97 for three months after the $100 cashback.

    • Wonder how long they'll take to pay out the cashback. Based on other deals could be 4-5 months.

      • +2

Yeah and we just need to make sure we've been connected the minimum 90 days with Dodo to be eligible for the cashback

        • +1

@Crowing Are you able to let us know the estimated payable please? You can see the estimated payable (x number of weeks) by clicking "+" on the transaction after it tracks. Thanks.

@FerreroRocher Dodo is a new partner with TopCashback (as stated on the banner). Most of these similar merchants take 4-6 months to pay. The cashback sites seem to wait for the merchants to pay.

          • +1

@trixieb: It hasn't tracked yet - will let you know once I see it in my account

          • @trixieb: Still no tracking yet - has anyone else’s order tracked yet?

        • 'Remain a customer' for 90 days means you can order for connection in 30 days time, then remain connected for 60 days from then - i.e. small profit on the cheapest plan.

          • +2

@Its4me: Do I really count as a Dodo customer before my service is even connected?

            • @nowich: My thought too and I see 90 day criteria in the post but not on Topcashback deal.

              • @chrisharry53: T&Cs in the post description are copied directly from the T&Cs on the TopCashback/Dodo page.

Please check the offer on TopCashback page again and you will see the 90 day criteria.

                • @trixieb: I see it now. Mind playing tricks on me I guess

                  • @chrisharry53: You must remain a Dodo customer for at least 90 days after placing your nbn order to be eligible for cashback.

                    is this the term?

                • @trixieb: hi,I have scheduled the installation for 30 days from now. During these 30 days, I won’t actually be connected to Dodo yet. Am I still considered a customer of Dodo, and does this 30-day period count toward the 90 days?

                  • +1

@nowich: Taking the literal meaning, I think the 30 days does count. But is it worth testing it? I know I wouldn’t. I don’t work for Dodo and don’t know of a store rep on here. I know we are bargainers but I think this would be a bit sneaky hahaha.

  • +1

What time frame do they need for cancellation?

    • +1

The website states "No lock-in contracts".

As you are on a 1 month contract, there will be no early cancellation fees. For clarity, if you choose to cancel your service prior to the end of the first month, we will not refund any pre-paid fees.

      Critical Information Summary

      • Yeah, but for cashback we need to stay 3 months.

So just ensuring we can cancel at the end of 3 months, not drag into the 4th month.

        • +1

My chat - “Hey Chris! 👋 It’s Sunday from Web Chat Support. Sorry for the wait—I'm here now and ready to help. We can cancel even within the day notice, However, It is best to cancel at the end of the billing cycle as we don't provide any prorata refunds.”.

I provided feedback that info needs updating as only refers to cancellation and no refund in month 1.

  • is it possible to pick start date? as I have to wait 30 days to leave superloop

  • +1

How long will this Cashback deal stay up for

    • +2

Probably until Dodo's promotional budget for this campaign is used up.

  • +1

Discount just ended on last provider so good timing. Signed up and followed all the optimal steps for tracking so hopefully fairly painless cashback.

Edit: Just got the email from TopCashback it was tracked. Says estimated payout is 20 weeks.

  • Off topic but just wanted to warn- mum called me to check out a "deal" she received in an email from "iiNet" and then this hit- Cyber incident involving iiNet customers

  • +1

thanks @trixieb for posting this deal. I was finishing with Exetel's 6 month discounted rate for NBN100 plan and I signed up with Dodo as a returning customer.

  • Looking at 90 days condition and given no pro rata refund, it's best to stay for 4 months to guarantee cashback. Depends how their billing cycle works, it would b risky to cancel service on 90th day

    • Yeah, agree. Not worth the risk to base it on sign-up date. Touch wood their services are ok, in turn no reason to leave before end of month 6.

dodo has asked TopCashback to pause them temporarily as they need to make some site adjustments across the weekend that may affect tracking. They will be back onboard soon after the changes are tested. We apologise for any inconvenience

    • I hope this doesn't affect any that were already processed when the time comes for the payout.

      • Any issues, contact @tightarse

      • +1

Hi. The pause has nothing to do with previous orders. It's to allow dodo some time to make site adjustments. Thanks.

  • Anyone know if this is coming back?

    • +1

Yes according to the rep here.

      • Cheers. So I'm assuming there's been no update regarding an eta

  • Looks like the deal is back now:
