I might go check out my SC today and have a look at it. I have been looking at getting a cheap arc welder for a few things on my trailer and if i need to do a little bit of welding at work. This one here at trade tools comes with a mask and starter kit as well for $139. http://www.tradetools.com/products/1032 . Steel guy that does our onsite welding is always raving about how good they are for the price.

    • Link you post isn't an inverter type welder, so would be much heavier.

      • yes the inverter is tiny 6kg much better

  • Nice work Bently! I've been looking for one of these on sale. Can anyone confirm if it is Grafton only sale for $120?

  • OK, if anyone is still interested, I got one! The last one from Newcastle Supercheap, at Mayfield West. Their stock levels showed 2 at Glendale, 3 at Grafton. The fella who looked it up for me seemed interested so there might only be 1 left in Glendale.

It is a clearance 125amp Inverter, not the 140 linked to.

Oh yeah, the price in their system is $103 because of the 20% off tools this weekend :-). Comes in a carry case with weld chipper hammer, welding mask, both of questionable quality.
