Dont accidentally forget you made and order then pick it up a day late. they throw it out and wont refund you. I was surprised to know they arent made in store and cant just be given to me from the store stock…..

    • Not a chance they'd throw them out. My bet is that if they're not collected by closing time, a staff member(s) take them.

      • I was told by staff theyre thrown out :/

yeah thats what they are meant to say, same with sushi shops (source I worked in one), the staff ain't gon tell you that your order is in their bellies

          • @Al Mawsil: This I can confirmed

@Al Mawsil: Trust me staff aren't taking a whole box of 24 donuts home, you get sick of it after working there a couple weeks. Most perishables get thrown out at any food place without anyone taking any.

            • @JerraJones: agreed it does get tiring and eventually thrown out cause no one wants it, but to new recruits its a gem mine

  • Never ordered something so quick lmao

    Horrible donuts.
(not downvoting because this is obviously a subjective opinion).

    • What's your go to donuts then bro

      • +2

Honestly, and I know this will be an unpopular opinion, I don't mind the Woolies bakery ones. Simple, sugar and cinnamon (without being sickly sweet). Good if you can get them warm.

        • Kk have cinamon also, do you like them aswell

          • +4

@ATTS: KK cinnamon is horrible. KK donuts needs the sugar glaze or icing otherwise they are bland mess of nothing.

        • Chuck these in the air fryer for a bit and they taste just like they came out.
I prefer these over KK any day too

      • Probs boston

      • You guys gotta try Salmon donut from Jellyfish Donuts. Just need to travel for a bit

      • The ones they used to have at Footscray station. But I haven't been there in ages.

Also the ones at the Vic Markets.

Also 'Puffin Doughnuts' in Canberra before it went.

Cinnamon and sugar donuts that are really fresh, ideally you see them being fried in front of you.

      • Boston or LA Doughnuts in Sydney Metro Westish, especially if you get them via Too Good To Go

    • +9

i think what makes them so good is the texture, when they are fresh, they are like a cloud, i think that is why people like them

    • -3

Agreed, donuts are horrible and should be banned due to excessive high sugar content.
Bring on the sugar tax I say.

    • My thoughts are the more air the donuts have, i.e the less donuts you actually get the better it taste.

    • Go and make your own donuts then.

  • What do I do with 2 dozens of donuts

    • +1

They have holes in them don't they

  • +3

With NRMA app you always get 2 dozens for $26.95
and its free to get NRMA membership

First world problems, but I hate it that there are online only deals where you can't swap out a dozen or 2 for freshly made hot ones. Nothing beats a hot KK donut!

  • Why is sugar so overinflated prices now days.

  • Haven't bought KK since the 12 bucks per dozen deal, wondering when it will come back

  • Kk had the worst click and collect … where you can only order for the next day… stupid

  • Good way to find the cops on Ozbargain…

  • anyone wanna venmo and share?I don't wanna get diabetes

    • I’ll go halves if you are in Brisbane
