As JSONBourne described in the Amazon deal:
I've been running these for a couple of months now and they've been brilliant. I've integrated them into HA to automate room heaters, car charging, turn on and off some non-smart lamps for when I'm away on holidays. Super solid on wifi so far and haven't had any issues with connectivity or setup.
AU$ based on current Mastercard rate at time of posting and GST inclusive.

For those paying in USD this is how you get the correct exchange rate in PayPal:
Setting overseas websites to AUD or letting PayPal do the currency conversion results in an inflated rate. To get the correct rate you need a card without international fees and do the following:
- Set the website currency to USD
- Checkout with PayPal
- Select your card with no international fees
- Click "See currency options"
- Select USD to bill the card in USD instead of AUD
- Proceed with checkout
Now you'll get the correct MasterCard or VISA exchange rate.
I got a couple of these for around $30 a few weeks ago.
I was a bit underwhelmed with them arriving with just 2 plugs in the box and I had to google to try and work out how to set them up. When I followed the instructions on the website it took about 10 times trying them before they worked.
Now they are up and going they seem ok but I cant see a way to rename them on google home from "Plug", the default name.
