However, you must be a QLD resident to open a bank account with them. If you're not a QLD resident, but are an Australian resident, you'll have to pay the $5/year fee to get RACQ Lifestyle.

This is already listed on the discounted egift cards wiki page.

  • Anything benefits of this membership over the free NRMA one? Does this give you discounted e-Gift Cards?

      • Thanks but might pass on this as NRMA already seems to have slightly better offers.

        • Does NRMA offer 4c/litre off the price of petrol at Caltex service stations, like RACQ does?

@Russ: 5c per/L off at Ampol Foodary and can be stacked with other offers.

            • @c0bnut: Hang on, NRMA is only free for the first 12 months, then $60/year. How are you getting it for free?

              • @Russ: I am just using the 12 month offer at this stage.

@Russ: I had them renew it automatically for a few years, they stopped that in the past year or so. But was able to get it included for about $30 with a caravan park booking. The booking cost me $30 less than it would've normally by including the NRMA membership ($60 less plus the $30 NRMA fee), plus I got access to their offers.

Why not both (assuming you live in Brisbane and can open a free RACQ Bank account)?

How do you get a free NRMA membership?

  • This is a price drop from RACQ, previously RACQ Lifestyle was $26/year according to this previous deal: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/373354
