Cashback sites, energy, internet, banks. Its a real insight to how often people just click buttons then dont follow through.
I usually click the link 3 or 4 times before signing up. Sometimes I just want to have a look at the site without signing up straight away.
It says my code has been clicked many times but it has never been used. So sad.

since CashRewards is closing down, both Shopback & Topcashback are trying to capitalize on this opportunity to get new customers.

is about as good as it gets.
I mean, TCB might put forward a better offer to counter ShopBack's in the wake of CashRewards folding but I doubt it would be an increase in the Referee amount. Historically it's always been the Referrer amount that gets any bump-up.

It requires you to have more than 10 dollars of payable cashback in order to redeem it. You'd need to spend 40 dollars at temu to earn that much cashback. At this rate just use topcashback
Could just use it for the gift card bonuses to hit that easy (which don't take long to become payable).
It looks like you can redeem less than $10 if you use the cashback to buy a gift card.
I just joined SB for the first time and immediately got 3 new member offers
- buy $5 coles GC for $5 cashback - became payable immediately, obviously not withdrawable as under $10
- buy any $30 GC for $3 bonus plus the usual cb rate - was able to use the $5 cb from coles and only pay $25 of real money
- spend $10 anywhere for $10 bonus plus the usual cb rate - bought some crap on ebay and all tracked
Great finding, one of the best alternatives for the cashrewards that I used for years (unfortunately they are about to shutdown).
RIP CR… only ANZ could do that to your business model…SB started out as dodgy, with tracking not 'tracking', but they have improved; apart from referrals which are declined despite meeting criteria, and apparently ColesWorth orders that include staple items such as chicken (apologies to the vegan community) where price is adjusted post-order is regarded as a refund/return (at no fault of the orderee) and hence not eligible for cashback…

It's scam referral system where shopback will reject your referral but let the referral use shopback and pays you nothing.

👉 If you’re the referrer: you’ll get the bonus once your friend signs up with your link and spends at least \$20 through ShopBack. The Cashback from that purchase needs to be confirmed for it to count.
👉 If you’re the friend being referred: you’ll need to spend \$20 via ShopBack, accumulate \$10 of confirmed Cashback (excluding any bonuses), and add your withdrawal details to your account.
All of this has to be done within 180 days of signing up ✅ Hope that clears it up! 🙌
If my friend got $5 cashback from $5 welcome rewards. And then use this $5 plus own $30 to get $5. Does it count towards accumulation? or has to be minimum $10 balance in the as the confirmed cashback?
Good question! The $10 Cashback needs to come from confirmed Cashback on purchases — bonuses like the $5 welcome reward don’t count toward that minimum. So you’ll need at least $10 confirmed Cashback from actual purchases 👍
@gotyourback: It is very hard to track.
Can I conclude that any "bonus cashback tracked" in the description does not count towards that $10 confirmed cashback? So it is basically exclude all those giftcard deals where $3 bonus from $30 purchase etc.It is a bit confused though as the first purchase is $5 Coles giftcard and it is 100% back without the word "bonus".
@SaberXLancer: Yep, you’ve got it right, those “bonus Cashback” offers like $3 bonus on $30 spend don’t count towards the $10 confirmed Cashback requirement. But if you buy a gift card where the Cashback for the gift card itself is tracked, then that will be counted ✅
when does it end?
does the referee need to earn $10 of confirmed cashback or not?? in the t&cs it mentions this but in the referral progress details the only two criteria are "Your friend has signed up using your link or code" and "Your friend has spent $20.00 and have his or her Cashback confirmed"
Great question! For the referrer side, your friend just needs to spend a minimum of $20 via ShopBack and have that Cashback confirmed (excluding bonuses). Once that’s done, you’ll get your referral bonus 🎉
For the referee (your friend), they’ll also need to accumulate $10 of confirmed Cashback from purchases (not including bonuses) in order to unlock their part of the reward 👍

Today, I got my partner/girlfriend to agree to sign up with my referral link and code.
I saw her use my referral code to sign up.
However, her new sign-up bonus and my own referral bonus are not showing? I also noticed that she is not showing as someone I have referred in the "in progress" has tab within the "Refer a friend" page within my app.
Also, there is no place in her account to put in my referral code.
Can you please help us?
PS: She is holding out making her first purchase on shopback until this can be resolved, because we do not want to cause issues with the qualified purchase criteria in relation to this referral 😊, if that helps?
