    RTX 4050 for $1.9K 😭

    • It's not a gaming laptop

    1.6 kg

    Extra unholy bad deal

      For 16 inch?

    • You don't know what you're talking about.

      99whr battery

Lol more like I know exactly what I'm talking about. RTX 4050 isn't gaming range. It's dedicated GPU for office range. MSI Prestige AI is known for their thin and lightness (recall the Ultra 7 1 kg laptop). The RTX 4050 can be tuned to even just 30 W. It makes zero design sense for them to then jack this up to 99 Wh and then price this at the Ultrabook price of 1.9k

    • Hey mate, i replied to one of your other comments on one of these PC deals with a question - i'm looking to spend sub 2k on the best value gaming PC - willing to learn to build and willing to wait if prices are to come down with the release of the Super versions. Would you have any pointers for PC builds you can recommend?

  • No good deal fam

    Specs are pretty decent:
    4K OLED display
    100 Wh battery
    Decent connectivity
    Decent CPU

My biggest issue (aside from the price) is that it's only 1.6kg, looking very thin, and has a CPU that runs pretty hot. A couple Reddit posts comment that it constantly runs uncomfortably hot.

    • Bad GPU fam. The recent rtx3070 for 1500 was gold!

  • Is it 120hz?

    • Fairly certain it is 60hz.

  • Other places with 2tb ssd is of 1999? And 1tb 1799

  • -1

Confirmed through reviews and comments its 60hz. Bad deal :(

  • To be honest, This a good deal for an engineer, but not for a gamer… If your looking for a gaming laptop, spend a little bit more get the Ryzen CPU (it runs cooler then Intel) and an RTX4070 or RTX5070 (if you can find one) … a good price for this setup would be $2000 on clearance, IMO…

    • Depends on your egineering workflow. If your engineering apps need lots of vram, that laptop only has 6gb.

Love how they hide what processor.
Its the 155h… yah no thanks.

    • -1

      Hahah hidding more than that

    • How are they hiding it? It says "Intel Core Ultra 7"

      • Core ultra 7 is quite vague term
Nobody would be easily figure out whether if it’s 155U or 268V, which has performance gap around 15~20% in single core, and significant difference in their igpu
