IKEA - Free Hotdog with 'Lower Price Range Product' Purchase. (Richmond and Springvale)

70

Got this flyer in the mail today, where there's an offer for a free hotdog (in the thumbnail link) when you buy any 'new lower price' product here http://www.ikea.com/ms/en_AU/campaigns/newLowerPrice.html and present the coupon.

The cheapest product in that range are a pack of 4 plastic coat hangers for $0.99 http://www.ikea.com/au/en/catalog/products/10196290/

This is more of something to look out for in the mail soon, since I won't have access to a scanner for a few days.

Long story short: buy 4-pack coat hangers for $1 get free hotdog (normally $2 with soda)

Those hot dogs are not very nice, no flavour, and very small.

Definitely not worth going to Ikea just to buy some cheap item for a free hot dog.

I forget about the hot dogs every time I go to ikea. I eat at the resteraunt, do my shopping, get to the checkouts and see the hot dogs and don't feel like them coz I'm full from earlier. Surely I'm not alone.

    • I go to the restaurant then tell myself I'll save space for that $1 hotdog at the end. It never happens.

Park near the loading zone, head up the elevator , grab a $1 dollar dog in each hand, ensure the sauce and mustard is adequately pumped… then enter directly into market place… thats how you roll in ikea.

FYI though the dog to bun ratio is way out of on those things anyway

I went to their restaurant once, and thought 'never again'. Not for a $1 hot dog or even a free hotdog. Bad food, IMHO.

Kids did enjoy abusing the endless refills of soft drink, though, so at least they left happy.

    • I like their food. Though admittedly, their hotdog is closer to the American hotdog. That is to say, get it in a bun, load up on ketchup, mayo, mustard & relish, and gobble it up while it's hot.

Edit: by the way, I didn't neg you.

      • great something to try my cheese in a can out on.
