Historic low for these, seem to be $15499 at other stores
Surcharges: 0% bank transfer, BPAY, Afterpay, 1% for credit/debit card & Zip.

And it’s also not as performant anyway for non-MoE models (even though MoE models make up most of the 205B+ param LLMs).
Just bought, will flex at the next lan party.
Depending on the weight, you may be able to wear it as a chain at the club though most opt for an Intel CPU there
Everyone notices my sweet i7 11700 chain, but nobody says anything or talks to each other there, everyone's left to their own devices
Is this what Randy wants us to buy to play Borderlands 4 at High settings? I'm guessing Badass is meant for those with racks of servers and GPU farms… the rest of us peons will need to make the game look worse than BL3 to get the frame rate over 30…
Will it run Crysis at 4k
Can I see where the bombs are in Minesweeper with this?
As seen on Gamer's Nexus…
Personally, I'm waiting on the Nvidia RTX 6000 Super Ti
Wow so expensive hahahaha lol
Would this be fine for Minecraft at 1440p? Buying for my son and I don't know much about computers sorry
This doesnt look like a joke
Finally a card that can run crysis on ultra settings
Will it play GTA six though
We’ll find out in 5 years
My newborn will be in school then. Perfect timing
This would nearly be enough to run Chrome on a windows PC.
I can buy RAM for my system with the credit card surcharge this thing would cost !!
Can this run Doom at 1080p?
1% surcharge is very low and quite affordable. Thanks RBA and ACCC! I pity the Europeans that can’t afford to pay surcharges so their European equivalent for RBA and ACCC don’t force them to pay such common sense taxes.
/s
No Borderlands 4 promo code. So for that reason alone, I'm out.
It's under minimum requirements for the game 😂
Thanks op bought 3
Then buy another while you can. You need powers of 2 ( 2, 4 or 8) if you want decent performance.
Is it good for mining?
hODLODOl boys, no one buy till it drops to 12k!
You mean $1.2k!
I’m just here for the comments
Just scooped up some spare change out of the couch, perfect timing
In around 20 years this will be worth $100, so all we have to do is wait it out. Easy saved money.
GPU power doubles about every 1.4 years, so it will be at ~1/20,000 of its current value in 20 years. Adjusted for inflation, it will be only worth $2.
Going off gpus from 10 years ago and how Nvidia sometimes releases series that can vary on performance increases. Idk, I feel like it could still hold $100.
Though on average, its really double every 1.4 years? If so thats impressive and if that equals $2 for this device then I really wondwr what a GPU 20 years in the future will be like. I wonder if 4k 240hz will be the standard 🤔
Idk, I feel like it could still hold $100.
In 20 years? The GTX-1050Ti was $35 a few days ago, and it's only 9 years old, so I doubt it.
I really wondwr what a GPU 20 years in the future will be like.
The top GPU 20 years ago was NVIDIA GeForce 7800 GTX, with ~0.2 TFLOPS. This card is 380 TFLOPS. It's "only" 2,000x faster (not 20,000), but this may be due to the fact that GPUs have become more important in the last decade (first cryptocurrency, now ML).
@bio: The 1050ti isnt comparable to this card. The titan x is. Its around $300 at the moment. Also the msrp price was 1/10 this card.
Its actually more likely to be around $500-800 in 20 years, which is the most realistic answer.
Both our answers of $2 or $100 are ridiculous, now that I did more research.
The 1050ti isnt comparable to this card.
Sure. What I meant was it's much faster than a 20-year old card, and still cheaper than $100.
Its actually more likely to be around $500-800 in 20 years, which is the most realistic answer.
No way. $800 after 20 years means that it will only lose 3% of its value every year for the next 20 years (0.97 ^ 20 ~= 0.05), which is very unrealistic.
If we're going to be pedantic, Tesla K80 is the actual equivalent as it's a server grade card like this one. It was around $5K at launch.
It is hard to find a new K80 today, but second hand ones are around $100-150. Let's say a hypothetical new one would be $250. That's 95% depreciation in 10 years. Also note that a K80 is actually slower than some cards you can buy under $250 today, so price is a red herring.
Give it another 10 years, and it will be $250 * 0.05 = $12.5.
@bio: It's more around 5%, not 3%, which even then is huge considering for the first few years the price won't drop at all. In fact, it has been increasing greatly beyond msrp. Probably the first 5 or so of those 20 years it won't even see a price drop.
The Tesla k80 is a data centre card yeah. The Titan X is the most similar I could find as the ada 600 is a workstation card which tend to keep value far more.
@badjazy: I have an S3 Chrome card to sell if you are happy to buy a 20 year old card for $800.
Just kidding. I guess we don't know what will happen in the next 2 decades.
maybe once upon a time it doubled every 1.4 years. definitely NOT the case now.
proof please
@Meconium: seriously lol just look at the last few gens, we are doubling about every 4 years or so now.
e.g. a 3080 had 28 TFLOPS, a 5080 has 56 TFLOPS, 3080 was released in 2020.
Was expecting a bigger price increase from Nvidia.
I feel too underpowered for Solitaire
There more you buy more you save
What advantages does this graphics card have over, say, a train? Which I could also afford.
Maybe it'll run minecraft? Unsure though, doesn't seem very powerful, train would have more Nm of torque
Delivery fee to my address makes this a non starter.
Includes the hire fee for the armoured van escort and armed guards!
How many Bitcoin can this mine.
It's only 600w of power consumption
this costs as much as a decent used car
HODL RTX 6001 coming soon
I love how this is next to "Nongshim Noodles, $5" in my feed.
How long till i make my money back mining bitcoin
Thanks, bought 3
They lost me on the credit card surcharge.
No Afterpay? Pfft.
Nobody reading OzBargain will purchase this. There is no need to have so many + votes.
Thanks bought 4 for SLI, hopefully my 500w psu and i7-2600 can handle this to run Zoo Tycoon
Don't forget 1% shopback!
Now I'm wondering what the sphere in las Vegas uses.
Edit: In December 2020, Nvidia launched the RTX A6000, which currently cost about $4,500 usd a piece. They have 150 of them. Whoa!!
I don't know how "deals" like these crop up on OzB.
Neither a "deal", nor a "bargain" - some random post for the sake of it.
Need this to run border lands 4, premium GPU for a premium game.
Perfect to play the mine game in windows
Is anyone running this much GPU memory? What was your approach? How much did it cost you?
Realistically, could this even run games wayyy better than a regular graphics card? I am curious and not familiar with PCs anymore.
It's not optimised or intended for gaming. While it is a bit faster for games than an RTX 5090 (about 15-17%), it also costs way more for that small gain.
This is basically an RTX 5090 with more GPU compute units unlocked, as well as triple the memory.
We have a system with one of these at my work. The guys are doing some pretty cool stuff with it.
What type of stuff do they do with a monster like this?
+1 genuinely, please do tell! I'm curious now :0
This or 2 x TNT2 in SLI?
$14,724 is more than enough for a ten-year ChatGPT or Claude subscription, which will be cheaper and cheaper.

Claude is Max is about AU$170 / month (and still hits the limits pretty fast). That's ~2k / year so ~7 years.
which will be cheaper and cheaper.
I doubt it. Once the Chinese labs stop dumping competitive weights on HF, Anthropic will likely stop selling tokens at a loss.
Does this play the windows solitaire game?
For those mentioning China – GPUs are generally more expensive in AU. Even this one, I checked on the Xianyu app: brand new with 3-year warranty is listed at ¥62,800 and normally negotiable. At today’s 4.76 rate that’s about $13,193. Yes, you can technically claim GST back at the airport when departing, but once you land in China, customs will hit you with import tax.
Quite cheap actually, only a bit more than 2 ETH. Especially if you bought your ETH pre mid 2020.
With the share price and income i've made on bank shares over the past 18 months or so, I'm thinking of buying a few of these and running them up. Might generate a bit of coin and start something. If Dave can do it, perhaps Bank of Micky…
Oh wait - thats already been happening with the women i've dated… :(
"The ATM"… I hate my mates sometimes…
I didn't even think this was real! I can't wait to Google benchmarks and cost per cuda performance.
No RGB or VGA or YPbPr outputs…can't connect to my 12 inch screen. Lucky I've checked the specs before ordering.
Would be a great card with Proxmox as it has vGPU support. I suspect Jellyfin would do well. The pricetag - not so great. Maybe if they shifted the decimal point one place to the left…
ozBARGAIN not oz14724.05!!
Why isn’t this in the video card options dropdown for TechFast PC builds?
just bought lucky pick at tatts lotto just for this lol
Can you crossfire 2 of them?
Is it good for my mining project?
do these fit in a normal PCIE slot or what?
I wish I had a job/hobby that needed something like this. Unfortunately, I can get away with basically any PC. Well, at least I don't need to spend 15k on a GPU.
Thank goodness delivery is free!
valentine's day sorted
An M3 Ultra Mac Studio seems somewhat better value. Half the memory bandwidth (819 GB/s vs. 1597 GB/s) but over 5x the memory size for fewer dollars ($13,824). But, CUDA etc……
