    Freebie?

    • Lol why am I getting negged for that? Not my fault it was marked as one.

      • Because some people are utterly clueless.

It did have a price in the title and the freebie tag was corrected 4 minutes later. Most people wouldn't have seen it tagged freebie.

Even if it was tagged a freebie, it's obvious it would have been a mistake, but definitely not neg-worthy

  • Aust stock or grey market? Seller pages don't mention the former so am assuming is the latter.

    • +2

surely grey. as per description: USB Power Adapter (UK Plug)

This model should be compatible with Australia 4G yes?

      Yes.

Seller warranty is not a good type of warranty.

  • I reckon kogan has a better warranty, Options to upgrade.

Kogan warranty is an offshore HK warranty. You end up sending it to Kogan who send it offshore ot look at and the turn around time for that is ~6weeks. I asked before :(

Ipads off Kogan are covered by nationwide Apple though!

doesn't apple provide 12 month warranty regardless which country you bought it from? no different to kogan in my view.

No, they do not. Apple may restrict warranty service for iPhone and iPad to the country where Apple or its Authorized Distributors originally sold the device.

    • UK Plug + Mo Carrier Lock = Hong Kong Stock/Model

So, no warranty (and no 'out-of-warranty') support in Australia.

  • Ha Ha - "Mo Carrier Lock" should have been "No Carrier Lock"

    • +1

Unless there's a carrier in the UK called 'Mo', of course.

      • Unless there's a carrier in the UK called 'Mo', of course.

They would not be UK stock/models - Hong Kong uses the same plug/socket as the UK.

I wonder why someone 'neged' my comment? Just because of a typo?

        • I did originally have HK, but changed it at the last minute, for fear of looking ignorant… guess it happened anyway ;-)

Fear not A3, I have given you a positive vote to cancel out the negative one.

I can not tell you my real name, but people call me +++Positive Man+++. I fight unjust negative votes wherever I find them. Pow! Kaboom! Smash! Negative vote, be gone!

  • I help give him one positive vote too.
