Or Between $200.01 and $1000 (Limited to 1 transaction per member) $50

NO cashback with use of codes (eg 10% off Everyday Extra), vouchers, EDR points or gift cards as payment.

To ensure tracking, use the TopCashback app, click the "Get up to $50 Cashback" pink button to the Woolworths website (not Woolworths app), use mobile data (not Wi-Fi) and Chrome browser. (Pause or uninstall Woolworths app if you have it)

TA's Tracking Tips:

  • Prior to using TopCashback, disable/remove all 3rd party plugins (AdBlock, uBlock, Pi-hole, Honey, etc), VPNs, avoid browsers such as Brave and close any additional browser tabs.
  • For iOS device: Apart from ensuring you’re not using an AdBlock app for Safari, the most important one is to ensure you have ‘Prevent Cross-Site Tracking’ turned off (see here).

What will stop me getting my cashback

  • During the Woolworths Groceries promotional offer on Saturday 20/09/2025, cashback is limited to one (1) transaction per member account, and capped at $50. The minimum spend is $100 and maximum spend is $1000. Orders below $100 or above $1000 are ineligible and will receive $0 cashback.
  • Cashback is eligible only on grocery items purchased wholly online. Cashback is ineligible on packaging, tobacco, and delivery subscriptions.
  • Cashback is ineligible if using any Woolworths Rewards points or gift cards as payment. Cashback is also ineligible if applying any coupon codes or vouchers.
  • Any orders that are made from outside Australia or that are perceived to be made from outside Australia (ie using a VPN) will have cashback declined. This is at the discretion of Woolworths (not TopCashback).
  • Cashback is ineligible on purchases made using Woolworths business accounts, or perceived to be business accounts. This is at the sole discretion of Woolworths.
  • Cashback is ineligible on use of any codes not approved and posted by TopCashback.
  • Cashback is ineligible on use of gift cards for payment and/or purchase of gift cards.
  • Cashback is ineligible on purchases made via the retailer's mobile app.

What else is essential

  • Important: When a cap is specified in the cashback rate, it will apply per member and/or per Woolworths customer for the length of the promotional period. As an example, a $100 cap running alongside an increased cashback lasting 3 days will allow for a maximum payout of $100 per member and/or per Woolworths customer for the 3 days of the promotion. Woolworths can decline transactions at its discretion based on these terms. TopCashback has no control over this process.
  • Engaging with plugins such as Honey, AdBlock, uBlock, Pi-hole, VPNs, and browsers such as Brave may prevent your order from tracking.
  • You must accept and allow all 3rd party cookies on the retailer's page if requested.
  • You must always return to TopCashback and click the 'get cashback' button through to the retailer's website for each new transaction. Ensure the TopCashback link is the last one used to visit the retailer's website prior to completing your purchase.
  • To be eligible for cashback, all transactions must be completed solely & wholly online and must not be assisted/negotiated via phone/chat/email. Failure to do so will cause tracking to fail and/or have cashback declined.

Good to know

  • Most retailers calculate cashback based on purchase amount excluding GST, other taxes, and delivery fees. Your cashback may report lower than expected due to this.
  • If any part of an order is cancelled / returned / exchanged / modified, it will no longer be eligible for cashback and will be declined in your account.

and also stacks with the 10% off monthly offer?

    • Yes it stacks with the bonus points and no it doesn't stack with the 10% off as per the terms: Cashback is also ineligible if applying any coupon codes or vouchers.

@gembel The 10% off monthly offer (Everyday Extra) requires a code. Cashback is ineligible on use of any codes.

Cashback is ineligible if using any Woolworths Rewards points or gift cards as payment. Cashback is also ineligible if applying any coupon codes or vouchers.

can we get cashback from Alcohol like vodka, rum, gin….?

    • +7

      Alcohol is bad for health

      • +4

        True.
The brain’s mostly fat, and alcohol dissolves fat. So yeah, it’s technically eating your brain.
Plus, it strips nutrients from your body, which can lead to deficiencies over time.
The real problem? I still drink.

        • Hahaha… atleast it dissolves fat

  • +2

    Not too shabby!

  • Is click and collect ok?

    • Yes.

  • +9

    Almost makes up for inflation!

  • are everyday market products included?

    • +3

Unfortunately not. This is for Woolworths Groceries from Woolworths Supermarket.

  • +6

    Max Spend $1000

To stop you from over spending

  • +8

Can you schedule click & collect for another day or does it have to be collected today?

    • Wondering the same

    • +1

Click and collect Monday would be ideal…..

      • +10

@skd100™ @Fobsessive @Spending2Much I checked with the rep TA. It makes no difference. You can schedule for another day.

  • +5

Spent over $200. Commenting so I remember

    • +2

There are other ways than using a website as your calendar or reminder app.

Commenting so I remember to slap myself because I didn't check OzBargain before doing my Woolies shop this morning.

      • I add to a bookmark folder so I can go back if I ever need to !

  • I’d highly recommend not using safari. The safari browser is very poorly optimised to be used within the app and you can’t press the bottom buttons properly. It’s almost impossible to check out or pay. Use the advice in this post and make chrome your default browser before you start

  • -3

how long it takes for the cashback to get tracked? place an order more than 1 hour ago. still haven't tracked yet

  • Accidentally bought using Wi-Fi, so cancelled my order and did it again under mobile data, now it's showing pending for the Wi-Fi order will it still track my second order done under mobile data? Limit to 1 per transaction 🫩

    • +2

Really curious why the recommendation is to use mobile data and not WiFi… Is it just in case some of us have ad blocking on our routers (like me, but I know to turn that off for this stuff)

      • +1

Pretty much. Or custom dns, vpn, other over the top modem services becoming more common. Not everyone on a wifi connection will know or be in control. I've made it a habbit now just for simplicity.

        • +1

@IT2816 Please message the rep tightarse, link here, under Private Messaging, Start a Conversation on Monday. I'm sure TA will be able to sort it out for you. He is very helpful. I think only one (the first) transaction will track.

@Xizor is right about the reasons for using mobile data and not Wi-Fi.

          • @trixieb: Can you please clarify about refunds that are out of our control? Discussion below.

  • +1

Still waiting on my Woolies TCB from the last deal - apparently claims take weeks to months.

  • … So given that it's 25% off, and the cap is $50 - Then wouldn't $200 be the maximum order size that'll get discounted (not $1000)? Except of course GST isn't covered, so $220 not including delivery. Hoping someone can confirm …

    • +5

      I read it as $200 gets $50, $1000 gets $50 and $1001 gets $0

      • +1

@Grazz989 Cashback includes GST with Woolworths as stated in the table in the post. Minimum spend is $200 for maximum $50 cashback.

  • +1

TopCashback terms and conditions seem pretty tough.
Is it safe to load your Woolies basket up first then go into topcashback and click the link or do you need to fill your basket after clicking through the link?

    • +7

I did this, load up my basket first in app , click link to website, checkout the cart/basket, paid all via credit card, tracked within an hour

      • Same here, loaded cart, then went to top Cashback on desktop and clicked Woolworths and checkout

      • Same

  • +23

This T&C is very problematic - if we buy something that is pre packaged and sold by $/kg (e.g. meat) there will often be SOME refund due to the way it's priced online. Not to mention when things are out of stock. Is this really the intent?

If any part of an order is cancelled / returned / exchanged / modified, it will no longer be eligible for cashback and will be declined in your account.

    • +12

Out of stock items in my weekly orders are very common. This deal almost feels like a gamble

    • +9

This is actually a great point. Would love some further clarification if there is any? @tightarse

    • +3

Holy crap thats huge backlash waiting to happen if so.

    • +1

      Yeah this is crap

    • I doubt it is the intent - perfectly reasonable that if the buyer cancels, returns, exchanges or modifies the order that they wouldn't get the cashback. They really should specify that it is if the buyer does any of those things, that would make it crystal clear.

      • Agree. I doubt they can tell the difference in their system though (WW initiated or customer initiated)

        • I'm 100% sure they can. When you edit a woolworths online order, it basically creates a new order which you then submit in the old order's place. I've done it a few times before, it's very different to them crediting the difference back to your card when they are OOS or the weight is different. You editing or changing an order does not result in a credit back to your card the way WW changing it does.

          • @trotsky: Interested (genuinely) as to how you can be so sure about this in general - beyond the specific example you give. And more specifically how TCB can tell the difference, not just WW.

I can see your example makes sense since it ends up being a new order with a new order number - so trail goes cold.
I can see how it could make sense that if WW makes a change, there is no new order number - so there is some continuity to identify the order.

But what if, say, WW had to refund half an order because they were OOS, what amount will it track at?
Also, what if you pick up the order, then refund something (for whatever reason)?

            • @madpig83: I've shopped with woolworths online for years, I understand how the system works. I can answer most of your questions easily because they're obvious if you're a regular shopper.

That said, I don't know what value the order will track at if half the order is OOS - because that's to do with TopCashback and not WW online. So - I don't know. That said, I DO know that there is 0% chance that WW will let $100 of a $200 order go without substitutions, that's not how they work. They try to fulfill as much as they can or otherwise substitute. In what, 4-5 years of shopping with them I have NEVER seen that happen, so I'm not worried about it, but I can't speak to others experiences

But I can answer your second question as it's straightforward - you cannot change a pick up order at the point of pickup. You can take that order to the counter of the store and refund or exchange like you can with any other woolworths order. WW will know that you've done that because it will be recorded against the original reciept, and when they go to make the decision about whether or not you've made changes to the order and if it's eligible for cashback, they'll reject it. Pretty simple.

edit: I should add (before the inevitable "akshually" response comes in) that you can absolutely get yourself into a situation where $100 of a $200 order is refunded by ordering a large amount of certain items that are typically difficult to fulfil and then either specifying no substitutions or the item being unique enough that substitutions are unavailable, but I'm obviously talking about a customer who wants the cashback and isn't trying to snooker themselves, a standard basket of groceries and not setting no substitutions for everything.

If people want to play roulette with what they get they can certainly make it so that it's likely that a large proportion of their order can't be fulfilled… that's not how I shop so good luck to them I guess

              • +1

@trotsky: Cheers thanks for the in depth reply.

My experience with WW online orders over several years is 100% refunds - because of $/kg meat and fresh produce. Could be $5, could be $20.

Not trying to game it but don't want to spend $200 to try to get 25% only to find that failed and I could've just got 6% using gift cards

                • @madpig83: I just bought >$100 and got the tracking done. But WW couldn't fulfil my item (OOS) so they only charged me <$100 so I think I don't get $25 TCB now because the total is less than $100. Sad times. I did not allow substitutions. They just didn't have the quantity I asked for.

  • +3

So use app, mobile data NOT wifi, delete woolies app, install chrome… Bit of a clunky process.

    • +7

…Rub your tummy and pat your head while standing on one leg. And don't forget to howl at the next full moon and cross your fingers.

    • +1

Also make sure everything is actually physically in stock otherwise if they refund an out of stock item you don’t get cashback

      • Big claim based on an interpretation of the T&Cs. I'm yet to see anyone who has confirmed that's actually what happens.

  • +5

Can I order C&C today and collect on Wednesday?

    • +1

      No mention of that

    • +1

I’d like to know that too. Tightarse?

      • +4

@Ovapoweredqcumba @Jklaro @Captain Hindsight I checked with the rep TA. It makes no difference. You can schedule for another day.

TA is unable to reply as a family situation has come up so he will be offline.

    • +1

I just ordered for Wednesday delivery and have received confirmation of my cashback.

  • +6

Does it have to be delivered in the same day? Can it be delivered next week but order today?

  • +4

This could be a gamble for C&C. If something is out of stock, woolies will either substitute or partial refund the difference. Substitute would probably be fine but for partial refund it might count as modifying an order.

    • That is me just now. No substitutions so I got partial refund. RIP.

  • I have historically skipped the Topcashback/Shopback grocery deals - because of prior pricing discrepancies (i.e. 20% off x may not be present; or item costing $4 may be $5 when using a tracked link). I've just been shopping direct via Woolworths app. Assuming its likely going to be cheaper overall.
Seems no one else has mentioned this - so has it changed now? Do prices align with the store; and how long possibly have I been living under a rock? I do use the monthly discounts (noted; can't be stacked with this deal).
I also get a substitute or partial refund on about 90%+ of orders; shopping for a family of 6; its about $200 every 3-4 days; not sure if it would invalidate most orders - even regularly using 1% would add up quick.

    • Its not a conspiracy! The prices are the same. Differnt story if ordering thru uber etc

  • Why doesn't the top Cashback website have any references to the app on the website?

  • +2

    Mine already tracked… Pickup.in sometime.

    • How long did it take? Just did an order, never done a Woolies shop online before so curious while I nervously wait for no substitution/refunds/changes to the order due to something being OOS.

      • +1

May be like an hour and half..

        • Thanks.

          Update: tracked within 20 minutes

  • You can't do this via desktop but have to be mobile??

    • +2

I think you CAN, but desktop users often tend to have various adblockers or other protections either on their machines or even in their Routers, often without being all that aware of it, and that would block the successful tracking of the offer.
I think the " use the app" instructions are more to try to head of the complaints for people who cannot get it to work in situations like that.

      • +1

@raydragon is correct with the reason for stating use the TopCashback app with mobile data. There is less risk with non-tracking. Wi-Fi settings may block tracking that users may be unaware of.

@neonlight It's the recommendation from TopCashback that you may have seen me write in most of my TopCashback posts.

        • Ok yeah but say if your desktop and network wifi had zero adblocking or add-ons on browser you should be able to get the deal via Chrome.

The best way is keep chrome with no add-ons and extensions. Turn off pi hole or any other router specifics that blocks ads. For me I have diversion and I usually turn it off or use mobile data but even with mobile data if you got adguard or some other mobile extensions still won't work

          It should work that way

I originally thought the deal only works via mobile app of Topcashback

    • I just ordered via desktop and received my cashback. (Chrome on windows without adblocker)
This is in the text by OP in the original post "Cashback is ineligible on purchases made via the retailer's mobile app."

  • I orderered a total of $110.45 for my order and on the checkout it says "Order discount $10" so it brings it down to $100.45. It doesn't say where the $10 discount is coming from, does anyone know? I don't want to void my cashback just in case it sees that as a coupon code or something.

I never used any promo codes however this is my first online Woolies order.

    • I’ve got the same issue haha I think it might be the auto redemption of 2000 EDR points? Hoping this doesn’t invalidate the cashback. Mine has tracked already and due to pick up later today..

    • “NO cashback with use of codes (eg 10% off Everyday Extra), vouchers, EDR points or gift cards as payment.“

The EDR points may invalidate the cashback. Will wait for the rep to clarify this.

      • I’m actually not 100% sure what the $10 discount is for. My EDR balance is below 2000 points ; and there discount is auto applied at the checkout screen

      • -2

I reckon this only means the amount after the edr points isn’t tracked. So if you order $200, use 10% for 180, minus $10 reward for $170, then use $50 gift card, it would track on $120 amount.

But would really need clarification how it works. If not SB is better as they accept GC payment.

        • +1

@ATangk The T&Cs are from Woolworths and are usually the same for all cashback sites.

          You mentioned:

If not SB is better as they accept GC payment.

Incorrect. Just checked ShopBack app for Woolworths. It also states "You won't get Cashback on - Any Gift Card or Voucher redemption".

          TCB/WW T&Cs:

Cashback is ineligible if using any Woolworths Rewards points or gift cards as payment. Cashback is also ineligible if applying any coupon codes or vouchers.

It would mean no cashback with use of codes (eg 10% off Everyday Extra), vouchers, EDR points or gift cards as payment.

I checked with the rep TA. Cashback may track at $0 with code use, gift card payment, VPN etc.

In the past, WW group (eg Everyday Market) have rejected cashback with code use, EDR points etc.

          • @trixieb: Not sure what to tell you, I've been paid out everytime SB ran the Coca cola 30% cashback, whilst using gift card payment.

            • @ATangk: SB/WW rejected my WW (non-Coca Cola) order paid with WW gift card. I didn't use any codes or EDR points but had used a WW gift card.

WW would have paid or rejected the cashback.

              • @trixieb: *Cashback is ineligible on use of gift cards for payment and/or purchase of gift cards.

          • @trixieb: Can we confirm that cashback will be eligible if the Order Discount $10 Direct to Boot Promo (https://www.woolworths.com.au/shop/services/pickup) is auto applied? There's no way of removing this $10 order discount unless you select a non-direct to boot option.

    • +2

I think and hope is relates to this https://www.woolworths.com.au/shop/services/pickup auto $10 off for new cust
I had everything bank to Xmas so they arent using any $xx off there

      • Thanks mate- it was my first online order too so that’s makes sense! Hopeful doesn’t invalidate the cashback as the discount is auto applied

      • Im in the same boat. Had $10 order discount but didnt realise it until after i paid. My points are banked for xmas as well so not my rewards points. Im wondering if i need to cancel and make another order on my hubbys account. But if its auto applied though and you cant cancel that discount then probably same problem with his account. None of us have used online shopping before. Im over thinking now and so much hussle but i do want my cashback 😅

      • Yeah I also got auto $10 discount - was wondering if I had missed something on screen but seems not going by other comments here. Woollies have previous form for denying cashback claims when they sneak another voucher in. I am expecting this will turn out the same.

  • +1

Wow thank you! Cancelled my order in time to put through a new one for today.

  • +1

Ordered via desktop site, made sure all the tracking etc was ok - used Wifi - tracked in under 20mins.

  • +1

    Thanks OP

  • +1

Thanks, first time ordering! The $50 back will be great for us getting essentials and non-perishables

  • +1

    Mine's tracking at $53.94 for a $215.75 order.

Not sure if this will correct to $50 or if its actually uncapped.

    • +1

I checked with the rep. This will be adjusted down to $50 next week as per the cap.

  • My cashback tracked but it says $0, is this normal?

    • It's not normal. I checked with the rep TA. Cashback may track at $0 with code use, gift card payment, VPN etc.

      T&Cs:

Cashback is ineligible if using any Woolworths Rewards points or gift cards as payment. Cashback is also ineligible if applying any coupon codes or vouchers.

  • -4

NO cashback with … or gift cards as payment.

Wonder how would they know that? Paid is paid

    • +1

Woolworths know - its shown on receipt. They can see that!
As it's a Woolies condition in this Deal, Woolies can much later refuse payment to TCB.
      Which means you don't receive $50+ cashback😭

Will show as tracked but later likely will be refused.
      Tell us how it goes😉
