      You’re thinking of the 1st generation of pro - 10.5” but these are 11”.
      Still they’re quite old, must be the last update they’re getting.
      I wouldn’t get anything older than M1 2020

      These are technically the '3rd Gen' of the iPad Pro line, but the '1st Gen' of the iPad Pro 11" Line.

      Released in 2018 with the A12X Bionic Chipset…blame Apple for their confusing naming scheme…

      Not quite, the 11″ iPad Pro in this deal launched in 2018. You’re likely thinking of the first 12.9″ iPad Pro from 2015. (This 11″ model is still compatible with iPadOS 26)

          • Grade B & Grade A: ≥80%

          • Like New: ≥85%

              @jv: Fair concern. We check cycle count and abnormal drain; anything outside spec is serviced before listing. Every device includes a 12-month warranty and 30-day change-of-mind. If a battery falls below 80% within the warranty period, we’ll handle it under our warranty policy.

              If a battery issue arises within the warranty period, we’ll replace the battery at no cost and cover shipping both ways.

    I have one of these and it runs fine. Use it for editing photos in lightroom. Probably wouldn't update to ios 26 as all the extra animations and transparency effects would most likely slow the system down but I could be wrong.

      Not to mention the mess of three different types of windowing systems and removing a swipe movement that everyone uses apparently. I don't use one so I wouldn't know what that is.

    be warned i have this and ipad os 26 runs stuttering and not smoothly unlike previous ipad OS. i wouldn't upgrade - in fact I'm thinking of downgrading back to ipad os 18

    I still use the OG Ipad Pro.. Pretty slow. But it works for apps and Netflix etc..

    A12X Bionic Chip. Better get the latest ipad for 500 on less on deal with A16 chip. Almost twice fast single thread and 4X faster AI workloads and full warranty, battery and better resale value.
    No point getting the pro without an M chip.
